Wet Willy's — Restaurant in Harker Heights

Will never visit this bar again. Worst experience in Killeen, by far.... I have been here a total of 3x. The first 2 were nothing much to speak of, the first time was a Monday after work, it was dead but am average bar. 2nd experience, sameish. Last night will be my final visit. 3 of my girl friends and I show up, grantide a little late, 1:22 in the am. We got to the bar to order our drinks the bartender was busy playing a dice/cup game on the other side of the bar. I'm assuming we interrupted her and that's where the attitude started, mind you she's at work lol lol. She said, "It's almost closing, the door guy is new and he shouldn't have let y'all in. Hurry and order, I'm calling last call" RedFlag!! Yes, we still ordered. I went to the bathroom and came back to the table my friends had chosen. There was no salt on my beer so I went back to the bar and "interuppted" her game to ask for some. "Are you sure that's what you want, really that's what you want???" Was the answer I was given. No sooner she handed me the salt, the other person begins the bar hit the lights and said we had 5 minutes to finish up, they were closing 15 minutes early....

I get it is the end of the night but don't take my money if your not going to conduct business in a professional manor. I will never spend my money here again. Customer service...

Hard to get bartender service (they don't seem to care about earning tips). Older people, very country and not at all diverse (me and my friends were the only women in our demographic there). Wasn't sure if it was a gay bar or not because you see more men hanging onto each other and women dancing with each other than men with women. Diverse music though, but nowhere to dance there. Smelled like we smoked 5 packs of cheap cigarettes leaving there (smell clings to your hair and clothes). Some drinks are cheap, but weak as well. If you're more eclectic, chic/posh, or urban, then this is NOT the place (mostly cheesy military guys and seemingly drunk somehow mediocre one-nighter sack chasers, so you can have that type of fun if you just need to get one off right quick)... Good spot if you're not one of the cool kids and need a laid back but crowded escape to unleash...

Lots of screens to catch all the sports action. Good drinks,and even tho the place was packed, we had great service,full drinks all night. Went on a Saturday and wasn't expecting a cover charge but it's $5 weekends. The place got super packed, and coming from states that don't allow smoking,the smoke in this place got ridiculous. Rowdy,loud, no room to move by midnight. But it was a fun party packed place if that's what you are looking for. It was a great place for watching the fights, not so much for casual drinks...
