My first experience here was dine-in by myself. I walked in and noticed it was insanely loud even for a pub. I stood by the door for several minutes and got a couple of glances from the staff but was never approached. I eventually just flagged one down and asked if I seat myself and was told yes. Please put up a sign stating that. Anyways, I went to sit outside and about 10 minutes later a couple comes out and they are helped right away. Okay that's fine. Surely, the waitress will come to me next...nope. She took their drink orders and when she came back with them she only took their food order and left again. I planned to flag her down next time. Felt like I was being ignored because I'm dining alone. Eventually a waiter comes out and talks to the couple and I make eye contact with him. He takes my drink order and leaves a menu.. All of this about 15-20 minutes after seating myself and having a different waitress ignore me twice. I'm a patient person but this was poor service. The waiter came back out and took my food order. The sausage and jalapeno pizza was very good and I would get pizza from here again. Delicious crust. Now, it gets weird again. I get a box and the waiter boxes up my pizza. Okay nice of him. Takes the plates, napkins, etc and heads inside. I'm thinking he'll come back out in a couple of minutes so I can pay. 20 minutes go by and the waiter never shows back up. I go inside and ask if I'm supposed to pay at the counter. The staff was confused because no you give your card or cash to the waiter. But, it was eventually figured out. Overall, it was good food but the atmosphere and service left a lot to be desired. I do understand it was opening weekend but, to be ignored twice and forgotten about when it was time to pay just leaves a...
Read moreMy wife and I went in on a saturday about 4-5 ish. We went early well, because its a good time to not be swamped, and this bar/pub is always packed. So we go in and immediatly was helped by our server and had our drinks within a minute. My capn coke was perfect and we decided on pizza. Lets talk pizza.. We ordered Sausage and Mushroom and was pleasantly suprised it seemed like 4 minutes and we had a pizza in front of us! the crust was definatly original not too thin or thick but a really great flavor crisp to it. possibly my favorite in town now. The sauce wasnt too acidic and they killed it with the cheese, shrooms ,the sausage was crisp soft and sweet too. I was absolutly impressed with the atmosphere, location, service and food. A great addition to my new hangouts list! ps the bar tender noticed we dropped our keys and made sure we got them. A great place!...
Read moreI have now ate at Tog Dog 4 different times. Once in person and the other 3 take out.
In person we ordered a pizza and kids hot dog. Great atmosphere and overall a great experience.
To go I have got a few things. Pizza, Italian beef, soups, and French fries. The pizza is good and the bacon is real large bacon chunks. The crust was cooked to perfection. Airy and the cheese was pull apart. The Italian beef was great. The meat is like any other meat on an Italian beef. The bread is a difference maker. The bread was soft and great taste. Held up really good when dipping. Whatever bread they are using, don’t switch. Last but not least. The Soup is amazing. Taste home made and fresh ingredients. The soup changes. Whoever is making the soup. 10/10. Only recommendation - offer a larger size for the soup. Would love to take a tub home and eat it through out the...
