Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Harrisburg

I recently have an amazing review of this business. But lately... There has been a pretty significant change in my opinion. Food is still delicious and drinks made perfectly. We especially love Carly who is so good at her job.❤️ That being said..... I like to go there in the morning when I pick up someone from work at 6 am and that is when they are scheduled to open 6 days a week. But at least 4 days out of the week consistently... The manager will be extremely late getting there (6:30 or later), which means no food can be made and they can't fully open. I can say most days they are never open at 6am. I understand that things happen, but it happening so often definitely doesn't need to be continuing. I know that as much as a frustration as it is for us, this can't be an easy situation for the other employees, nor can it be good on profit for...

Placed my order for a small strawberry banana milkshake and a small Oreo cheesecake milkshake at 8:10

Waited until 8:20 to be told they didn’t have ice cream and asked if we wanted anything else. We told them no thank you we will take the refund.

Waited an additional 10 minutes for someone else to come out and tell us they lost the receipt and asked if we remembered our total.

We gave our order AGAIN and waited an additional 5 minutes for the same car hop to come outside and say.. “we know your refund is 7 somethin but it’s gotta come out of a car hops money so it’ll be a minute”

When we asked if she could please hurry because we’ve been waiting for 20 minutes already for a refund she got smart, rolled her eyes, and walked off.

It’s now 8:45 and I’m still sitting here waiting for a refund for an order I placed 35-40 minutes...

Went to order dinner. As I was reading off my order,which was 3 large combo meals. I made sure to read back items and sizes again after each one. The young man who was taking the order was rude and very short when speaking. Rushing me to get my order in. Then,when the order got to my vehicle. I was only given two drinks instead of three. And they were mediums and not largest as requested. The fries and tator tots were mediums as well, and instead of large. They were COLD. And,one of the garlic butter bacon burgers that I ordered was supposed to have grilled onions. And,it was given to me with chopped fresh onions on it. I was thoroughly disappointed in the service.

I paid over $30 for food that was cold and wrong....
