China King — Restaurant in Harrisburg

We've ordered take-out twice in the approximately two weeks that they've been open. Please keep in mind that this is a new business, small mistakes are going to happen, cut them some slack.

Inside, it's bright, immaculately clean, and well-kept. The menu is easily visible, shown on tv's on the wall behind the counter where you order. There are tables and chairs if you want to dine in.

Our first visit, I ordered a lunch portion of beef and broccoli with white rice and an egg roll. Many times I visit other restaurants, the beef tends to be chewy or dried out. This was not the case here as it was nice and tender. However, I do think that it needed seasoning as the dish was very bland. However the egg roll was fantastic (both times)!

The second time, we ordered a general tso's and a beef & broccoli. However, once I made it home, I realized that the order was incorrect and we received two general tso's on accident. I was alright with it, though there was zero spice to it like stated on the menu and was more sweet if anything, similar to sweet & sour chicken.

We will definitely be back to try again. I'm grateful to have another...

I just happened to be online order #1 on their first day. It took about an hour to get my food, but with how fast they were pumping out orders, I don’t blame anyone for the mix-up. Once I mentioned it, they had it ready in just a few minutes. I got the Sesame Chicken. It was good and they definitely didn't skimp on portions. Peking palace had the best cashew chicken.. figured they bought their recipes .. it was dry no sauce chicken tasted funny so I took another bite and naw awful … no mushrooms boiled chicken .. was so excited to get some cashew chicken but was sooo disappointed… won’t go back .. sorry … glad a new restaurant is in town great for residents.. very clean and friendly just not what we expected…. ...
