LaRosa's Pizza Harrison — Restaurant in Harrison Township

We arrived for dinner and was told 20-25 minutes wait and her wipe out name on the book. We was patient and was waiting and a mother, father and son walked in and one of them workers came out to talk to them. We assumed it was their daughter. She went back in to the kitchen and after about 15 minutes she came back out and escorted them back to a table, not right at all, I'm sorry but they was there after us but we did not say anything and waited. Another group came in and sat down with about 10 minutes and one of the servers came out and started asking them how many there was in the group and was going to seat them until my husband went up to the counter and told her our name was on the book . She did take us to our table but was not happy about it. Thank goodness the young lady we did have was very sweet and ended up making our night better with her sweet attitude and attentive ness to things we needed. It had been a very long time since we have been there because the last time service was bad and food wasn't the greatest, well let me tell you it will be a long time again before we come back!!! Out of all the LaRosa's I have been to this is my least favorite one,but it used to be so good. I'm new to Harrison area but have have had this larosa's multiple over 4 years ago and the service/food used to be spectacular.I moved back to Harrison a month ago and have eaten at this location multiple times since moving in to my new house.At least once a week and i havebeen disappointed again and again.We do carry out so I really have no complaints about service but I do have complaints about the baked onion soup.It just isn't great.The cheese isn't supposed to look like you threw 2 slices in there and hope for the best. Also croutons are weird to put in onion soup.Its supposed to be bread.It is bread in every location I have ever been to except this Harrison location. They always forget something mostly sauce which is very annoying when you get home then open your box of food and stuff is missing. Past 3 times ordering carryout the calzones have been absolutely terrible. The last time gave me food poisoning. They are always cooked funny, like they are going into a high heat oven a very short time instead of a lower heat oven for a little longer, so they end up with the "toppings" they put on top burnt, the bread undercooked and to top it all off, they are skimpy as can be and the calzone ends up being mostly just cheese.

They didn't used to be this way. I tried another location tonight to see if it was just a larosas company wide change, but the other location was just how I expected it should be. Crammed full, cooked correctly and tastes amazing.
