Quick, easy and friendly sandwich shop. Simple menu. I got a turkey sandwich on white bread. I’m a simple sandwich person. Prices were very reasonable. Staff were very nice and friendly. Food came out quick. You can tell they’ve put a lot of work into this shop. I hope they continue to grow and develop as a business. That being said, it would be nice to have a signature sandwich menu, more complex sandwich options. Something more than just deli meat, veggies, mayo, and bread. But I do understand their business model, sandwich shop. It’s hard to start a local business and it thrive in Harrodsburg. Anything to set it apart will help it succeed. I have a food allergy that makes it nearly impossible for me to eat in rural areas. I am so thankful for The Sandwich Shop. When I jokingly asked about gluten free bread the immediate response was, "We will do what we can to accommodate everyone," and to buy gluten free bread to keep in stock for others as well. Decent quick and good value. Nice little shop, first time eating there. Received prompt service and prices were reasonable for this day and age. Food came out quick and tasted pretty good. I wouldn't call it gormet, but some solid sandwiches. Biggest complaint would be that the bread is just the cheap grocery store bread.
