The Local — Restaurant in Harrodsburg

The pulled pork potato is the best item here and so far the only baked potatoes that are actually loaded in town. But no potatoes in SUMMER??? Why is the Local posting their food menu offering potatoes, but then not even have them?? I could get it if potatoes are seasonal, but you can buy them 24/7 all year. The only reason this is terrible is the last 5 times, i’ve tried to go they were out of potatoes. I would try to go more often to score a potato but usually i drive to the local on break and they say they are out! My whole lunch break is ruined!! I would stop back around after 4, when i get off but they stop serving food at 3!?! Will not...

To be honest, I wanted to love it. Unfortunately, I was greatly disappointed. Me and a friend both ordered separate things and both were saddening. I purchased a blueberry cheesecake sundae and my friend ordered Dole ice cream. Both were a disappointment, but my friend had worse of an experience as the ice cream tasted freezer burnt. I wish it was better and wish I could've loved it. I was excited as I drove one hour to come here because I seen great reviews just be greatly...

Finally got to try the place. I am not much of a shaved ice person but love milkshakes and ice cream. Although the milkshake was good, I felt more impressed by the staff and how great they were and quick on their feet. I just hope the place will consider carrying real ice cream in the future. Other local places that do that close for the season. The local may do well with it all year. Aside from that...
