Brewed Omen — Restaurant in Hartford

A welcome addition to Hartford and one I was very excited to try. The beer selection is excellent and you can pick four small glasses to try out different kinds for a reasonable price. The atmosphere is very cool with a huge bar and multiple nooks and tables to hang out in. The outdoor area is a little lacking but I don't fault it too much as I believe it will come around in time. I have not tried the food yet but seen several dishes that looked good. It doesn't have a party bar vibe and that's just fine, plenty of those around, it's more in line of a place to meet friends for a few drinks in a cool environment, and maybe get a bite to eat. Amazing place for coming and tasting beers! More of a low key place almost like a cigar lounge. The view of the Rubicon River downtown Hartford from the building is amazing and you can see the waterfall from the back patio of the Hartford Mill Pond its so beautiful! They have just a couple different things for light finger food such as Flatbreads, nachos that are amazing! And a few other things. They have 2 big screen tvs that have all the beers they offer which are smaller craft breweries and a nice variety! Stopped to check out the place on Black Friday. Really cool, inviting space. The young lady working seemed super shy but she engaged in conversation and at least tried to make a connection. The guy working seemed like we were bothering him. Once even asked "are you staying or leaving". Not sure how we were supposed to take that. Would stop in again, the beer selection was fantastic and we enjoyed every one we tried. Can't wait to see what they will have...
