Hartford's Pizza — Restaurant in Hartford

This is ridiculous.. Tonight I order a pizza and place it on my credit card. Over the phone the lady was clear to say to have your card and ID with you when for the delivery person to check when they arrive.. No problem.. I appreciate the extra security and checks. 40 mins later the guy arrives I come and meet him with the requested ID and credit card, he does not want to check... Ok fine.. He passes me the receipt to sign and tip.. I fill it out and pass it back, I ask for my copy and he says they do not give a receipt unless it is asked for when you place the order. WHAT THE FU*CK.. If I place any order with my credit card or with cash is not and automatic to receive a receipt?? His reason makes not sense...I nevee order from this place before. How would I know I need to ask for something that is an automatic when I or anyone else make a transaction?!?! Next issues.. I notice I received lemonade instead of ice tea... What was the purpose of asking me what I wanted to drink if you were just going to give me anything you wanted to anyways?? I asked for iced tea, she said they have it.. I get lemonade.SMDH. next issue.. The pizza I ordered was a broccoli, bacon and onion large pizza.. The onion and bacon are okay...the broccoli on the other hand ...well where was it?? I received a pizza filled with broccoli stalk instead with maybe 4 pieces of broccoli florets.... What the heck is this?? Ohh and as you can see from the pic the pizza...

If I could leave zero stars on this review I would. I ordered 2 regular calzones (Which means it comes with ricotta and mozzarella only NO SAUCE), they delivered nasty, soggy calzones with sauce dripping out of them. I then called the owner and told him, he argued with me saying that calzones are always made with sauce and that I don't know what I'm talking about. Well guess what, I'm half italian half greek and for 30 years now I never heard of anyone putting sauce inside a calzone, he must be thinking of a "stromboli". He refused to refund me my money, and he only offered to replace the small calzone instead of both. Don't do business with this place, you won't be happy with your food or service it's nasty and definitely not "Authentic Italian Food". I recommend trying NY-NY Pizza right up the street from this place, the food is authentic and always very good, and the staff isn't rude...

Don't order from here via DoorDash or any other app unless you live in the vicinity of the area because they're running some sort of scam where they accept your order even though you don't live in their 3 mile radius, never cancel/deliver it, and then when you call to inquire where your order is they tell you "Oh we're sorry, we cancelled it, doordash should have called you." Then, they immediately put your order through as delivered on their end even though they told you they told doordash to cancel it. Luckily, DoorDash was still able to refund my order. Joke's on Hartford Pizza though, cause I reported them to DCP and cc'ed the attorney general on the email. So they could wade through whether it was a mistake or a scam. Too bad because their pizza is actually...
