McDonald's is a family fave for sure but over the years, like so many other fast food chains, they have lost sight of what true customer service is. It is unfortunate to see these establishments take the brand on their building for granted. I went through the drive through to grab something for my daughter and I and the greeting I got from the young man was "what can I get you?"...like seriously?!!!! So I said "good afternoon, how are you?" And he seemed confused by that statement. He said "what?" So I repeated myself twice before he seemed to understand what I said. My first job was at a McDonald's over 20 years ago and back then we set the bar for customer service. Back then employees cared about their customer and went the distance to make sure the customer's order was accurate, food was hot and presentable, and we thanked a customer for choosing McDonald's. And that's the thing isn't it? These businesses take for granted that customer's have a choice. We all have a choice, so when we CHOOSE to patronize YOUR establishment PLEASE take the few seconds to welcome us the right way and let us have a good impression of your employees and your establishment! When customer's witness good customer service that is a reflection of the training and management. On the flip side of that, when the service is poor it is also a reflection on management and training so what side of that coin do you as a business want to fall on? Food...
Read morePoor service and food! 9 out of 10 times I received bad food (over/undercooked meat and fries). The most recent experience that finally made me give up on ever going to this particular location ... I was asked to pull into the reserved for customer spot after waiting, with my kids in the car, for 30 minutes I walked to the drive through window to be told they gave away my order to another car. I remained calm and I watched as she resubmitted the order and as she proceeded to trash my receipt, I then politely asked he to retrieve and return my receipt, its the only proof I had to show what my order was and that I paid for it. Maybe 10 minutes later someone brought a bag with three sandwiches but no fries. I walked inside this time to request some fries where she had to look at my receipt to confirm I ordered a combo. When I get to the car the fries were so old, brown, and dried out I just told the kids not to eat eat them and threw them away. I know there are good and bad days but this wasn't the first, second, or third bad experience here. They don't care about the customer's experience and it shows. No more...
Read moreWent to the one closest to me since the prices are lower than the ones elsewhere. Went through drive thru with family to order with a deal and somehow my cousin's order got messed up after saying scratch this item and put this one in the order instead. She got charged for two drinks when she only needed to buy one for the free fries. We mentioned this more than once to the people serving us until the manager came and told us the how the deal works as if I didn't know already. My cousin shakes her drink in her hand to the window with the ice making noise which should have been loud enough for them to hear while I held the other in my hand. Manager didn't do a good job with assessing the situation and refused to give us a refund. The second time we came in to order tea with a lemon slice in it but got no lemon and just decided to leave. I normally don't have this problem with this McDonald's since I know how things work and I usually go inside to order my stuff, but going through the drive thru wasn't a good option for us. (I wasn't the one...
