Southend Pizza — Restaurant in Hartford

Wanted pizza so bad last night and we decided to give this place a try, worst decision ever for pizza WORST!! The pizza box was so greasy, and it looked as if someone poured oil on the pizza after it was done!! Then my husband took a bite and asked me to bite after he did and it was disgusting!!! THE SAUSAGE WASN'T SAUSAGE AND THE CHEESE TASTES OLD. So I called and the owner told me everybody loved the pizza there and that they were closing so I can get something else the next time I order! The next time I order, was sure I wasn't ordering again because it was disgusting. So the next day I went and brought the pizza back to show him we didn't eat it and can I just have my money back, he told me NO cause he could have came and picked it up and he or someone else could have eaten it, huh like did he really say that to a customer!! So really u would have took that pizza back after it's been in my house and u don't know if anybody has COVID or not but u would have picked it up and eaten the pizza!! That mean u will resale a pizza u picked up from someone's house too!! So because I called a few before they closed he rushed me off the phone!! He wanted to argue with me about it too because he was upset I wanted my money back but I told him Happy Father's Day it's ok!! TELL U ONE THING I will never in my life go back there and I will make sure anyone I know don't go back there too!!! Leave pizza making for the Italians...

Horrible restaurant I ordered food at 940 and they said they will deliver in 20 mins 20 mins turned to 45 mins I noticed it was 1040 and they close at 11 I called and asked where is delivery driver with food the guy who answered was rude and said "we are closing.delivery driver went home" I responded but u charged my card and u said delivery was on way at 945 he said yes driver is on way for delivery I thought that was kinda suspicious after he said driver went home.so I waited till about 1050 I noticed the charge on my card was cancelled as if they decided to not charge me cause they weren't coming I called back and the guy on phone said " he already delivered food" I told him I never received call or any food and charge didn't go thru on card why he cancelled.he said he didn't cancel and he was gonna see why driver didn't come and would call me back in ten mins I noticed this was a lie and when I looked at clock.it was 1051 and they closed at 11.i never received call back or food.i don't get why he didn't jus tell me from start no one was coming instead waste my time.i will never order from there again you guys lost a customer.horrible service and bad experience.next time be honest and tell your customers after 930 they will not get delivery instead of lie.you guys...

doesn’t even deserve one star. We ordered a lasagna, breadsticks, 2 liter soda and a small salad that came with the lasagna, waited longer than an hour just for the lasagna to come frozen in the middle and drowned in grease. The lasagna turned into this mushy type of soup as soon as it hit the plate. What’s worse than the food is the customer service, when we called and told them what was wrong with the food they told us it was nothing and was just the cheese, then when we repeated ourselves for the 3rd time he told us “it’s fine, just reheat it”… After we discussed it over with the same guy he said “okay, you can just get something else” so we chose wings and he told us we had to pay a difference? because of how hungry me and my kids are i just decided to pay the 8 dollar difference. and when they arrive they wouldn’t give us our food because they want everything we ordered back. unacceptable you give us frozen and greasy food and still make us pay for a difference PLUS you want the food back? no. never ordering...
