Ruth's Drive In — Restaurant in Hartsville

I absolutely love this place. I struggle with going out to eat by myself. I pushed myself to go in and sit down to eat. Glad I did. My waitress found out I was a new customer and was excited and told me that I am family now. I felt completely comfortable. The food was on point concerning I cook at home. It was nice having a REAL hand pressed burger patty with fresh veggies and pimento cheese. The real French fries are great also. I ate it all. Thank you Ruth's! Glad to know I have family there next time I come to South Carolina! Service was so amazing I left her a 22.00 dollar tip!...

Was recommended to stop by here and try their food. Boy what a great suggestion. Not only was the food amazing and fresh but the whole staff was very friendly and engaged in conversation the entire time I waited for my food. I learned that this restaurant is coming up on 77 years making the same great quality food. If you are in the area give it a go! Thank you to LeAnn and Cheryl for making it a great experience. My girlfriend and I are always traveling around S.C. whether it be for work or meetings. We were traveling down sc 151 in between Hartsville and McBee and came across this dinner gem severing food since the 1950's ..... I got 2 hotdogs ALW and crinkle frie and my baby got Cheeseburge and fries ..... all I can say is damn this food was really freaking good ......side note they sever down home souther cooking 1 meat and 3 sides type of good food too.... we will be coming by for the weekly specials next time...
