Business owner here. Ordered lunch . Doordash brought it. Missing cheese and jelly so I called the business since it's close. Vicki working there, nice lady said she would fix my order. I then get a call from Christopher guess kitchen Mgr. I told him my story, he says we're you charged for the cheese. I looked at my receipt given . The cheese wasn't on there. I assumed the Pantry put everything on there, but no. So then he proceeds to say , I don't give cheese away . I said what. I ordered it with cheese. He repeated himself, I said we'll its probably 1 dollar. I said u know what I'll eat it the way it is. I didn't get what I ordered and he was upset cause I wasn't charged for 1 piece of cheese. I frequently order from this business and send friends, but I will NEVER order from there again. Let alone refer anyone. It was not my mistake. I didn't get what I ordered and I didn't make out the bill. So over 1 piece of cheese that he says I'm not giving away, I won't ever be ordering again. Christopher, you lost good customer, businesses, and referrals. So if you need the 1.00 come pick it up. Thank you Vicki for...

First time to the Pantry in several years after an initial bad experience. While I rarely leave a negative review or comment, I have begun to realize that with the current economy and how hard people work for their money, that posting a truthful non sugar coated review will benefit people so they don’t waste their money. We decided to give the Pantry after have a bad experience several years ago. I’ll cut to the chase. The restaurant was freezing cold, and I am never cold. The metal seats were even uncomfortable because of the cold. While being fairly good sized portions, the quality of the ingredients was not good. The sausage patties were paper thin and tasted as though they were filled with “fillers”. The blackboard said they serve Dumas meats which is local, but that is not something I have ever tasted from Duma and we go there often. The potatoes were not cooked and were hard and the coffee was Luke warm at best. The prices, for the area were rather high, but we like to support local and decided to give them another shot. Very disappointed in this visit as well, although the server was...

If I could I would give this place zero stars.. I cannot even explain the bed service that was received. First off it took them almost 15 minutes just to get our drink orders and then another 15 to bring them out. We were the first people to sit outside and everyone else came after us. They all got their food before we got ours. People that came in after us finished their food and paid their bill before we even got ours. Then when our food finally came out, she only had one plate and all the rest of the food was wrong. At this point we’ve waited over an hour for our food, and I ordered a side of home fries and my server only gave me a small order and the rest would be out in a “few minutes” which actually means around 15-20 minutes. The small order of home fries were hard & pale while all the rest of the table got nice golden ones. By the time I got my potatoes it had been an hour and a half. I have never received such bad service in my entire life. Nobody should have to wait even more than 15-20 minutes for their food let alone an hour and a half. This place will longer be getting any of my...

It was horrible. We drove from the back, and the building looked like it was molding since they made the building in the 1820s. In most of the pictures, they would only show the front. We came in, and it felt like we just walked into a time machine. I know it's supposed to be old-fashioned, but it was weird. We had to seat ourselves, but the tables were awful. 2 tables were never used, so we had to sit at a 4-seater. "They had to bring more chairs." I ordered sweet tea, and after like 2 minutes the drinks came, and when I drank it, it was not sweet at all, so I changed it out with a root beer from the fountain. Then after I tasted it, it had an aftertaste that tasted like minty toothpaste. So after I got my food, the bacon and eggs were alright, and the pancake tasted powdery, but the main reason that I gave it a 1 star is because of the sausage patty. It was pink, like a darker salmon pink. I didn't eat it because I did not want to get food poisoning. I posted pictures of the sausage. And because of that, I went on Photoshop and had to make an "I Survived book" and created the cover of it.

Stopped here for lunch with my family. Great location right downtown. I had been here decades ago when it was completely different ownership. Back then I thought the food was OK, but now the food is great! Everything is made from scratch and you can tell. We got lunch food and everyone was happy with their selections. The prices were fair but higher than you are going to pay at some fast food place, but you are paying for better food and get what you pay for. The staff was very friendly and patient with our kids. The atmosphere was trendy but not pretentious. We sat downstairs but there is a balcony upstairs with nice views of the heart of the downtown area. Would definitely recommend and would happily go back again.

We finally visited Heartville Pantry and realized we’d been missing out! This place is wonderful, with a cozy vibe and amazing food. Our server, Vicky, was a delight—fun, friendly, and spot-on with her recommendations. We ordered the country fried steak she suggested, and it was fantastic: crispy, tender, and smothered in creamy gravy, served with home fries, sunny-side-up eggs, and toast. Everything was delicious, just as Vicky described. This is now our go-to breakfast spot, and we can’t wait to return!
