Glenda S. Was our server. We ordered 2 pot roast sandwiches...1 with no onions s...1 salad for one side and mozzarella sticks for the other side...with the sandwiches. Came out 2 lunch duos..we wanted the full sandwiches and was clear we did not say duos. Both had no onions...one was supposed to have onions...so Debbie as wonderful as she is got onions for us. Glenda did not check back....once on us...not ince..did not drop off our check. We go to pay...Debbie compensated for the terrible service and wrong orders...with a discount. We leave and look at our check...and we were charged..9.99...for the mozzarella sticks that were supposed to be a substitute. If a substitute like that wasn't possible our server Glenda should have let us know..and not just went ahead and charged for a full appetizer...which there were only 6 mozzarella sticks on plate...not sure if it should have been6 or 8. Irregardless we shouldn't have been charged that in the first place. Overall Glenda needs to start liking her job better...or get another one. I was a waitress for 22 years...and this is the first time I have ever left a 1 cent tip...it was that bad. Debbie was very nice though...always is and has been. Thank you...
Read moreMy first time at a Perkins restaurant at my roomates suggestion. The service was prompt and friendly. The floors and tables were clean. The issues stemmed from the food.
Coming in hungry we decided to pick and poke at a few items. We got the sampler platter consisting of fried pickles, mozzarella sticks, and chicken tenders. A Waffle platter with one waffle, two strips of bacon bacon "scrambled " eggs with cheese. As well as their seasonal strawberry crepes with breakfast sausage and the same "scrambled " eggs.
I believe the eggs were from a mix as they were Very very bland and soft. The bacon was paper thin and chewy, on top of that. Everything was cold. The butter didn't even melt on the waffle!
The fried pickles and mozzarella sticks were pale from bot being fried long enough . And the sticks had the dreaded ice cold cheese inside leading not to a pleasant stretch but a whole emptying of the fried sheath.
The one thing that was hot were the tenders, but the texture and flavor lead me to suspect they're a premade frozen type of chicken tender.
Overall if you want breakfast it's not worth the price. Ours came out to $43 and these were not large portions. Just cook for yourself or try a...
Read moreThe food was good.... The waitress was sweet..... BUT the management stood around watching and not running to help her TEAM out... especially on Father's Day! As far as our experience it was muggy in the restaurant, i asked for a diet coke to drink was brought a regular coke (which I made my kid drink) then after sitting with empty cups for a long time our whole table had to ask for drinks reminded her AGAIN mine was diet coke I was brought a cherry coke... When my daughter ordered she ordered the pot roast stroganoff was asked what 2 sides she wanted then when served was brought the pot roast meal when corrected no big deal... When we received the check we was then charged the correct meal but then ALSO was charged for the 2 sides that were only ordered because asked... We waited 7minutes for syrup to be brought to the table when all but 1 meal needed... we had to ask another waitress who was cleaning off a table for ketchup because was forgotten twice by ours... And all while the manager was standing in the front.... Sad for real sad one of the only FAMILY sit down restaurants in this town.... And it wasn't even as busy as I know it could have been for being a...
