Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Hastings

I like Sonic's food; it used to be worth paying a little more than other fastfood places, but it definitely isn't anymore. At least not at the Hastings location. The place has been going downhill for a while now- the infrastructure (half the stalls seem to be out of order and if the screen works, the card reader doesn't), the staff (I've yet to have a carhop capable of making correct change and every time I have an order with more than 2 drinks, something comes out wrong), and finally now the food itself has fallen to a quality that I can't justify coming back. We waited 38 minutes on a slushy, a drink, a burger, and mozzarella sticks. Not sure what the ridiculous wait was for, as the slushy came out half-melted and the "hot" food was cold. The sticks were rubbery, the burger (which was missing ingredients) had been sitting in the bag long enough for the soaking-wet lettuce to seep through both the wrapper and the bag, and they'd failed to put anything else in the bag, including sauce for the sticks or even napkins. If I'd had another 38 minutes to waste, I would have sent it all back. Better to avoid this place until they can bring their standards up to something...

I'm going to be honest here! I went through the drive thru and ordered 2 Sausage Breakfast Burritos in which I've done hundreds of times over the years! This was my sons order so when I got home and he bit into it he tasted peppers. I did NOT order my sausage Breakfast burritos with peppers and tomatoes which were in it!

So i went back and told them what I got and wanted them to make it right with a refund they said either or!..so I chose the burritos being made right but was angry I had to go back to get it right with no refund!..

So I think they should've gave me my money back too for driving back and having to get the order right!.. I am very disappointed in this place as I have been before! I think they need to overhaul the staff and train them with the proper training and get it right or they'll continue getting negative reviews years to come!!

New post!! 2-11-24 I ordered on door dash and I was suppose to of had a pulled pork sandwich and tater tots they gave me Double Cheeseburger and French fries! Where did it read that? idk!! ..someone needs to start learning to read !! NO...

Me and my kids wanted to eat outside since it’s a nice evening, so we went to sonic, we walked up to outside menu and picked out what we wanted to order so my son pushed the button, the button was flashing, we sat there for 6 mins so my son pushed the button again and no answer a car hope lady brought out a drink to a car that was in the car hop section, my son proceeded to ask the girl if this button worked and we are ready to order all she had said yes it sure does work I will see what’s going on and she walked inside, another 5 mins passed as we are sitting at the outside tables and nothing, we pushed the button again and nothing so we lefted, mind you I could hear all the employees messing around inside laughing haven a good time, there was 3 cars in drive through and no one eles in the pull up sections! NOT HAPPY AT ALL we sat there for a total 15 mins waiting to order and we got not 1 response worst customer service still, I thought with new management it changed bc that is all I hear on the Facebook group so I thought we would give them another try!
