LUHV Factory & Vegan Bistro — Restaurant in Hatboro

*God. Let me preface this by saying I would never lie simply to hurt a business. But on my way back in to get the sandwiches I ordered for my experiment, a mouse ran across the doorway that I entered in and went back into a white door marked employees only. Glad this was my last visit. Health inspector is overdue.

I take it all back. I did the math and I've spent $1762.81 here since 12/1/21. Probably a month of rent. I work nights so I usually order at 730 since my dinner is at 8. I clock out early so I can grab the food before they close. Now, today, for the first time ever, my order is cancelled before I get there because they 'dont take online orders after 730' all of a sudden. I asked the long haired aryan boy if this was a new rule (I've been doing this since 2021) and he said yea. Dear child, you better be right and not have just wanted to get out of work right at 8. If I walk in at 745, I can still be served but not if I online order? I don't think Silvia and Daniel would agree. Otherwise why does your site still take orders and tell me it 'will be ready at 7:50' when if you order too late (like 7:45) it says it will be ready tomorrow. OoooOoooH they messed with the wrong one,ya'll. Sure, they won't miss my weekly orders, but it adds up over years.

The next day; I did an experiment. I made my order after 7:30 while I was right outside the building then walked in to see if they would cancel it. Nope. Different worker said that's not a rule. My last time coming here. This is what happens when your whole building is worked by teens who don't care about their job.

Old review that's barely true anymore : Loved this place. It's close to my work so I eat here way too often, and they're not exactly the cheapest. I will say they low-key doubled the price of their garlic bread and I just can't condone that. It's amazing and should have been more expensive from the start but going from "2 for 3$" to "1 for 3$" is a big gut punch to the customers. I spend hundreds of dollars a month here, literally. It's a convenient healthy dinner, and I've seen other things increase in price on the menu but the side of garlic bread. If you ever tasted it, you'd be just as upset as I am. Oh and they need something other than chips to go with their 10$ sandwiches. Sweet potato fries maybe? Definitely need fries...

My boyfriend and I were beyond disappointed with our experience. We walked into the establishment and the young cashier greeted us. She asked us a few questions which included 1) Is this your first time here and 2) Have you tried vegan foods before? My boyfriend responded because he hasn't had a vegan experience but I have been vegan a few times in the past. She immediately suggested he try the black bean burger. I found that default odd because she didn't ask additional open ended questions to try to figure out what he might like so that she can offer multiple options. She only mentioned combos and didn't really go into detail about the soups, which ones were popular and their different unique tastes. While we waited for our food two other couples came into the restaurant. I noticed a few differences in the way she interacted/serviced them in comparison to us. She not only mentioned combos but recommended the half and half iced tea, described the soups in detail and she also offered them the different options to receive their receipts. In listening to her service the other couples we learned way more about what this bistro had to offer then our encounter. One couple sat outside and then the other couple was seated inside. The couple seated inside looked at us, said something to each other and then all of a sudden decided to go sit outside. When the cashier brought us our food we thanked her but she didn't say anything back. She handed my boyfriend the food and walked away. When she brought the couple that initially were seated inside a cup of ice water, she was super kind in her exchange of words. We decided to get a refund and leave. This place wasn't our kind of vibe or type of environment and the service we received wasn't that great. I've been to tons of vegan places in the city such as veganish to name one and the service is wonderful. It's a hard no for me! We will not...

Place opened at 11a.m today, St Patrick's Day. Placed a pickup order online for 11:35 a.m. We were doing the 16 mile drive out there and received a call from the cashier saying the chef wasn't in yet, and that the food would be delayed 20 minutes as he was on his way (this was about 11:20 a.m.) I told her ok, and we will be there in a bit. I decided to stop at a shop on the way to kill some time. We got to LUHV a little after noon and the young lady again said sorry and that the chef still wasn't there. And that our order would be delayed another twenty minutes. We bought some already made pasta salad and ate that while we waited. At about 12:45 or so we asked for a refund for the online order and then left. Not sure if/when the cook showed up. We weren't even offered a water or anything. I did feel bad for the person that kept having to tell person after person that there was no one there to make their food. Very disappointing experience and we will likely...
