Hello all, I am a frequent flier here but it wasn't always this way. Over the course of six months I've had the pleasure of coming here more and more. I have not had a single issue with my orders and the staff have always been exceptionally hospitable. The four servers I'd like to name personally are Dianna, Megan, Ashley and Kevin. They've always went above and beyond but it is important to note that every server I've had during this time has treated me with a notable amount of respect and hospitality; I'd be lucky to have any of them for my table!
The table's coffee has never ran out and accommodations have always been met for us without any issues (Since Day 1!). Our food has always come out fast, we usually go in down times but even at their busiest they know how to dish it out with speed AND quality in comparison to other places locally. IHOP (Hattiesburg) staff want want their customers to return for another visit and it truly shows.
My wife is vegetarian and staff has always helped us discover new options to try out when new menu items roll out. They have always helped us with any questions and clarifications we have about their menu. Which by the way is a rather extensive menu. Read moreStopped by here on our way home from the IMPACT Conference @ Woodlawn Church in Columbia. It was one of the few restaurants open at the late hour so we gave it a shot. Some of the folks were great. The gentleman who met us at the door and helped us in, right as the rain started to pour, was wonderful. He stopped by a couple of times to check on us, even though he was not our server. Our server, on the other hand, decided that since we were about the only other group there, he didn't need to make sure we were taken care of. Our drinks went without being refilled, from empty for about 10 minutes while we were eating. Finally saw him chatting away with a person in the back dining area and not really paying attention. Our food sat on the bar for a good 2 minutes before he realized it was up and that was only because someone got his attention. Now, having been a server I can understand the boredom that comes with little to no people and rainy nights, but that is no excuse to ignore customers. I did tip him, cause again I understand, but his tip would have been better if he chose to pay just a little more attention. I'm autistic and have Ptsd, I go nonverbal when nervous, and the waitress was quite patient and understanding. I came in wearing a full face mask, which I admit is not all that normal, but rather than being quick to judge, she observed the situation and reacted appropriately, I came in pretty close to closing (literally 10 minutes in advance because the time on my phone was off and I'm not from here, just passing through) so I am suprised to say the waitress was quite patient alert and kind. The food was also great, I got the chicken and waffles, the waffles were soft, the Dr pepper was well mixed, didn't taste watered down or overly sweet, and the breakfast sausages were good too, the chicken is definitely not like I'm used to but only because I'm from a different area, it tasted GREAT, it was definitely a satisfying meal and the customer service was AMAZING, so sweet and helpful, nit to mention the fact it was quite clean, INCLUDING THE BATHROOMS,...
