I went to get lunch today and I was greeted amazingly however when it was time to place my order the frontline worker asked me what I wanted this is how the encounter went. Worker: what can I get for you? Me: a 6 in ham sandwich on wheat Worker: what type of bread Me: wheat? Worker: would you like any cheese? Me: yes, pepper jack and I’d like it toasted Worker: would you like it toasted? Me: smirks yes, pepper jack, toasted. Worker: *shakes her head and mumbles under her breath *
At this point I noticed that she’s also on the phone while taking my order. She has her phone propped up on the food station ( I’m sure that’s contamination) with her ear buds in. This explains why I’m constantly having to repeat myself… regardless she continues my order and I attempt to explain to her we got off on the wrong foot and that I was simply frustrated that I kept having to repeat myself. Her response was well in fast food places people need to understand that they may have to repeat themselves sometimes and while I do understand that and don’t have an issue with that, I shouldn’t have to repeat myself several times because you’re choosing to have a phone conversation while doing your job. She was very passive aggressive while serving me. I asked for her name she told me Amber however there was no name tag visible. My receipt says served by 6408 and is time stamped at 2:14 pm...
