WHAT EVER YOU DO , DO NOT EAT HERE !!! THEY GOT ROACHESSSSS YALLLLLLLLL , I don’t care how hungry you are !!!! 🪳🪳🪳🪳🪳🪳🪳🪳🪳🪳🪳🪳🪳🪳🪳🪳🪳🪳🪳🪳🪳 and they know it and DONT CARE !

This restaurant had to be BY FAR the WORST RESTAURANT IN HAVELOCK !

Sooo let me just break everything down , I came here with my family to eat and order a seafood sampler . The catfish bites were not cooked fully through and the scallops were the tiny cocktail ones you get from foodlion .

My waitress was very sweet and tbh I’m greatly appreciate her honesty. For one either nothing was on the menu and she warned me not to eat it .

I ordered Catfish and it was under cooked 3 TIMES ! At that point I didn’t even want the fish . This shuffled lady kitchen looked dirty and senile . Still not understanding why she would come up to our table while we’re eating with filthy clothing . It was very much DISTRUBING .

No organization , the staging of the restaurant looks cheap and low budget .

The food is obviously not SOUL FOOD , and is giving canned vegetables and box of flake potatoes vibes .

Me and my family was the only one in the restaurant and it still took forever for our meals to be made , & I actually seen a family come in and leave immediately.

This restaurant needs to be demolished to the ground and built back up from stratch. Also there definitely needs to be multiple health inspection because I seen 2 roaches while in the restaurant. I told them and did not seem to care at all .

Tiasha or whoever the boss is needs to just find a new career path at this point because it’s definitely NOT GIVING !

Rant...

I really, really loved how friendly they are, not to mention the hospitality! I had an order to go since I couldn’t stay. I want to start with the good. The crab dip is really tasty and the banana pudding was very flavorful and delicious. I wanted to love this place so bad. I would have given 5 stars if I hadn’t gotten a bad crab cluster. I ordered 2 clusters at the convincing of a very nice gentleman who greeted me when I walked in. He convinced me by throwing in an extra cluster. I wasn’t expecting to get this since I was taking everything to go but he convinced me and was so very nice! With how expensive crab legs are, I expected to get a free small one and I did. I’m not at all complaining about that part, but my largest crab cluster was horribly bad! It had spots on the shell and a brownish hue to it. I cracked it open and the crab was a brownish color. I noticed the crab meat in the other clusters were red and bright white but had a cajun taste to them (that is delicious by the way!!!). I just assumed maybe there was a bit more flavor in this crab which could have caused it to get that color. Boy was I wrong! When I took I bite I had to spit it out! I had to throw away a $25 crab cluster!!!! I think it was old or rotten. It was the entire giant crab cluster and not just one leg. I was conflicted about posting this since I really loved the vibe there and will give them a try again. However, I should not have gotten crab legs to go. I would order them again in the future, but will make sure I will eat them there in case it happens again. Everything else was great. We drove quite a ways to eat here because of the good reviews...but it really wasn't what we expected at all. Before we ordered the waitress informed us they were out of pasta and scallops..ok. We all ordered and when we got our food we were immediately surprised by the portion sizes. The shrimp meal looked like a kids meal and the shrimp tacos only had 2 tacos. As we started eating we realized the quality for every meal was quite poor. The "cheese" burger didn't have cheese, the hush puppies were hard and did not taste good, the steak was overcooked..our baked potatoes didn't have the sour cream that we ordered and when we asked for it we were told they were out of sour cream. The shrimp tacos were good and the crab legs were ok but everything else was really poor quality. We ate what we could and I spoke to the waitress about the problems and she offered a discount. When we paid we got a 10% discount..but really we should've gotten a VERY heavy discount. We paid like 130 dollar for 6 people and we are going to have to pay for more food somewhere else or cook when we get back to our rental to not be hungry tonight. The owner came and talked to us as we were leaving and apologized and seemed like a very nice man and I hope he's able to get the quality under control..I don't know if this was an off night or what but with so many things gone wrong I find it unlikely.
