Playback Video Games — Local services in Havelock

Have been coming here for as long as they’ve been open. I have quite the collection and I STILL never leave empty handed. Great customer service, regardless of who’s in there they always reciprocate small talk and it makes it an enjoyable experience. My favorite part is the rotating inventory, some of things stay in there and don’t get sold (bubsy 3d I’m looking at you) but I always see something new or interesting when I’m in there. Presentation is easily digestible, good organization, decorations maintain the overall energy of the store. Prices are acceptable and trade in prices have never disappointed me. Fell on hard times a few years back and sold my WiiU and some games expecting like $20 at most but I got enough to pay for gas and food for the week so I feel indebted haha. I’ve been to other retro game stores recently while traveling and I never realized how spoiled I was to live close to this one. Also if somehow a console they sold you had an issue, they’ll help you find someone who can fix it granted it’s not broken in half or on fire, some things are beyond the realm of man after all. I just bought Dragonball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3 online at Amazon but the game wasn't working. There was plenty of scratches so I'm guessing that was the reason. Honestly, it made me really sad that it wasn't working. I've been trying to get this game for years. It's one of my absolute favorites. So I was I looked up retro gaming stores in the neighborhood and I found this place. I immediately came out to see if I could get some help. And I wasn't disappointed. This place is great, all of the consoles come with a controller and the cords bundled in for a very good price. The games are very fairly priced and they have a huge assortment of them to pick through. I recently purchased an N64 and Mario 64 and I am very pleased with the price I payed for both in amazing condition. In general they have all of the most well known consoles and, I cannot emphasize this enough, they put a plastic cover on the games and put stickers on that AND they include a cartridge cleaner with every cartridge game.
