Manhattan Bagel — Restaurant in Haverford Township

This location has changed ownership a couple times. It is now the BEST it’s ever been.

On any busy Sunday morning they are at their best. With 6 or 7 people working (it’s like a small village from India) it’s a great vibe/atmosphere, so cool, so friendly and genuinely happy to serve you people.

From the youngest, a delightfully cheery and accommodating college student + older sister to, I’m sure, somebodies mom and grandmother too, you will be hard-pressed to find a nicer, happy and professional group of employees all working together in what really looks like perfect unity with a common goal - serving us with great food, this place is hoppin’

Whether it’s breakfast sandwiches and coffee or like me, my regular baker’s dozen, 2 tubs of c.cheese, 1 pack of nova lox, coffee and occasionally chocolate chip muffins- You can not go wrong ordering from this Manhattan bagel location (Havertown,PA).

I don’t know if they tweaked the bagel recipe but the dough is excellent the perfect bite, and the flavor/s are New York best. I never thought a franchise would become my go-to spot for our bi-weekly dozen + extras, 50 to 57$ twice a month it’s bagelicious -

Oh, and when many other bagel places stopped selling Garlic bagels (cost of garlic) theirs’ are the best - no skimping either - the bagels are loaded: Everything, Garlic, Salt, Sesame & Poppy all covered top and bottom (don't you hate when a place jips you by only sprinkling just the top) not this location :0) Nice!!

disclaimer: this review is only for the Havertown Manhattan bagel location. I have no clue about any other Manhattan bagel location, but...

I used to order through DoorDash, including to pick it up myself, and they’ve gotten my order wrong about 3/5 of the times friends or I have ordered from them, and this is all relatively recently, like within a 2-3 month period. They’ve forgotten my hash brown twice, and gave me the wrong bagel on my sandwich once (I ordered the french toast one after having it from here once before, and they instead gave me a raisin bread one. I hate raisins, so it was inedible, and regardless, it wasn’t what I ordered.)

The same breakfast sandwich has also come with scrambled eggs and fried eggs on different occasions, which I find odd that there’s no standard way to make the sandwiches at a breakfast spot.

The food is good when it’s the order I paid for. Unfortunately, more often than not, I get the wrong order, if I get my food at all.

I’m also shocked after reading the reviews to see how many other people have experienced this, and that this is still occurring months if not years after some...

So this was my first time ever at a manhattan bagel establishment. This location is the closet to my house. I had a coupon for a free bagel with cream cheese. First walking in not greeted , woman who took my order was extremely nasty. I ordered my bagel and because I ordered an onion bagel and asked for cream cheese with chive if extra I would pay for the CREAM CHEESE. She then made the bagel and said 4.00 I’m not paying 4.00 for cream cheese. So then she has her coworker remake bagel with regular cream cheese and the whole time I’m watching this ignorant lady make the bagel . To be a prick she takes half of the cream cheese container and puts it in the bagel. Enough cream cheese for five bagels. Needless to say first and last time trying them out. They need to invest in better employees who are so rude. Wasted a container of cheese for...
