Went to RGs bar with my 26 year old boyfriend to see a friend play a show. Walked in with no doorman or cover and immediately went to the bar for drinks, which were decently cheap. Only issue is, the bartender asked for ID from me and my boyfriend, for which he presented a passport. She vehemently rejected the passport even though he had debit cards and a MA state rmv account with all identifying information. Regardless of trying to reason with her with the additional forms of ID she would not budge and got increasingly agitated/rude. We had just wanted to see our friend play regardless of the purchase of alcohol and she kicked him out. Extremely unfriendly environment and unreasonable bartender.
