New Haverhill Jade — Restaurant in Haverhill

Excellent new option in Haverhill for Chinese takeout or delivery! Leagues better than the old Haverhill Jade (why did they keep the name?) Some items are better than others of course (beef and broccoli was ok but bland and disappointing)...instead order the excellent and spicy kung pao beef dinner or lunch combo which is a great value and comes with steamed white or pork fried rice (I usually add an egg roll too!) Sesame chicken is also very good but more like typical mall food court honey chicken (very crispy and sweet) also would be better in my opinion to use dark meat. I haven't tried the General Gau's chicken which I expect to be similar. Chicken wings are extra large and succulent and other appetizers (boneless spareribs, crab rangoon, egg rolls) are above average. I'd love to see more authentic Chinese dishes on the menu but this isn't Boston or Lowell. Food is always cooked fresh to order and delivery is very quick (10-15 mins) and service is friendly and helpful. I love Haverhill Jade, the people are always so nice an respectable. I've dine there with my daughter back when it first opened in early 2000s , I've ordered delivery. Once I order right at closing I wanted a LG chicken , it came back a little pink needless to say we all make mistakes but I knew they close in like 5 min, I called he answered I tells him , my chicken was a little pink at the bone, I know your closing or I'd get another can you drop my refund off on your way home, he says naw naw I'll make your chicken it's no problem an deliver it Awesome I went to show him the chicken but he didn't care to see it, he apologized an the convo was awesome, The chicken is amazing, the convo was nice At Haverhill Jade Hun The food is always fresh, hot an at a reasonable price. Tried the New Haverhill Jade on Winter St. in Haverhill last night and was very satisfied. The lady that answers the phone and other staff are extremely nice and friendly. I was told a 25 minute wait but I swear it was more like 15 minutes and the food was hot and smelled delicious. The delivery driver was also very pleasant and polite. The boneless spareribs were very tender and juicy which I enjoy more than the hard, chewy ones. Crab Rangoon was delicious and crispy. Chicken fingers are homemade as far as I can tell by the batter. The plate itself which is pork fried rice with 3 appetizers, a can of Root Beer, and delivery charge was $20 and change. Hot, fresh food, great customer service, fair prices, and quick delivery .... I will definitely...
