Shiloh's Restaurant — Restaurant in Haverhill

Dinner was excellent. Husband raved about the salmon and I loved the spicy scallop entree. Chicken appetizer enough for 2 and home made taste, didnt seem like a prepackaged frozen item.

Menu offerings different than what was listed on google so was disappointed that the lobster appetizers were not available nor were the bbq ribs. Waitress said they are working on correcting menu feature listed on google.

Also scallops listed at $14 were actually more, was told at time of ordering so I was ok with that but disappointed they didnt put correction on menu itself, as that would have been an easy fix.

Nice variety on salad bar. Included peel and eat shrimp. Surprised cocktail sauce was heated. Have always had it chilled. Maybe a New Hampshire thing to have it heated?

Husbands gin & tonic excellent. My white Russian tasted like it was.made with amaretto not kahlua, so disappointed but I didnt complain and I did.not.order a 2nd because of this.

Took desserts back to hotel. Apple pie nothing special but chocolate moose type pie was excellent.. seemed like it had cream cheese in it.

Was very pleased with waitress.

Decor does not reflect the good food. Dress is very casual.

Dinner with tax including 3.mixed drinks and appetizer but not tip was.$89

Liked the place enough to have breakfast there the next morning. Coffee excellent so always a good sign!

Pictures show breakfast. I had the apple stuffed omelet. A real treat. Was suggested by same waitress. Think it had bacon in the omelet as well and a quality cheese. Husband had the waffle, sausage etc.

Have eaten at other local spots while overnighting in Woodsville. None...

I stopped-by yesterday, hadn't been to Shiloh's in a year. I secretly had a crush on a waitress that was married, not cool. I needed time to forget her and time to heal and wouldn't you know I was heading out the door and she appeared, all smiles looking at me with a sparkle in her eye. My jaw fell open, my heart leapt and I panicked, didn't think she still worked there! Good thing Shiloh's was very busy and I was near the door leaving. I looked at her briefly, smiled best I could and said "hi", "gotta go", "see you around" while inside myself I was hurting. Anyway, I've always enjoyed the food at Shiloh's. The staff are very nice people, very friendly. The mixed drinks on the specials board on the other hand are not always good. Today I tried a pineapple vodka tonic. It was the worst-tasting mixed drink I ever had in my life, didn't taste pineapple at all, nor vodka. I don't know what was in that drink, enough said. For food I had ordered a bowl of Haddock Corn Chowder. The bowl I was given was a REAL bowl, FULL-SIZE like at home and the Haddock Corn Chowder was absolutely delicious! The broth was slightly buttery and there was plenty of stock in the chowder as you can see in the photo. I enjoyed every bite! The main course coming was the Taco Salad. It was very good as well, had plenty of ground beef, beans, had a tomato-based taco sauce (not greasy) and the sauce had a taste you can't get enough-of without wanting more. As to the waitress my heart still desires - I'm going to have to stay away from Shiloh's for another year. Good women these days always seem...

Went today 11/18/22 for lunch, waitress was talking to my parents and I like we were 5 years old. My mother wanted a hotdog, so she asked the waitress if they had them, waitress said yes.

The waitress comes out with our food, and my mother asked "Oh I asked for a hotdog." The waitress said yeah that is one, but you can't order from the kids menu. (saying it angrily) My mother replied "I didn't want to order from the kids menu, I just wanted a normal size hotdog, I can't eat a footlong, and I'm sorry but 8yrs and under can't either."

My mother got a footlong hotdog. On the kids menu side it says 8yrs and younger. WHAT 8yr old or 3yr old would eat a footlong?!(Apparently that's all they have but they don't tell you that.) My mother goes to cut the hotdog and bun in half and couldn't even get the knife through it. The waitress made a huge remark saying "see if you cut it in half its like a normal size hotdog."

I got mac and cheese i found a loooonnnnggg white hair in it (my family all have dark hair) I told the waitress as she came back and I said that i found it. She said "want me to bring you out more?" I said no i'd like it please taken off of my bill". She said "well unfortunately we all have hair" (as she looks directly at my mother like she just put a long white hair in my meal).

The waitress took my meal off the bill, but never apologized for having things be wrong. And just a tip... Don't wipe your mouth with their cloth napkins, I found animal hair, and human hair stuck in my fathers, and in my own. My family and I will NEVER...
