I ordered the large watermelon basil refresher, I asked for a small amount of ice, and told them we were going to drink it there. It sounded interesting, and I assumed it would be in a glass similar to the photo. They took my name and said they would bring it to us. A few minutes later they called my name and there were 2 small plastic cups sitting on the counter. I didn't think they were mine, they looked nothing like the photos. They called my name again, I went up, and they told me that was our order. I was perplexed. The cup was full of ice, was clear bubbly water, with a small limp basil leaf floating on the top. I carried our order out and sat outside. I took one sip, it was just sparkling water and ice, but there appeared to be some slightly pink heavier liquid at the bottom of the glass. I went back in and got a straw, then stirred the drink. My next sip was a chemical flavor that was 9 parts pure sugar and one part chemical pseudo-watermelon flavor, one of the most disgusting things I've ever tasted. I'm sure their coffee drinks are fine, but I don't drink coffee. I didn't want to hassle the young woman at the counter, the whole experience was thoroughly disappointing, to say the least. For $6, I expected some actual watermelon juice and more than a limp leaf of basil floating at the top. I expected it to be in a real glass. I expected it to be red, or have some color, just like the photo. If you're going to advertise something, try to have the product look SOMETHING like the advertised item! See photos. PS: there were two of us, and a family of four ordered after us, also sat outside, and TWO servers brought their drinks to them, and they were in...
Read moreOrder taker was kinda friendly also seems like he didn’t care. Was ordering through him and he just seemed like I was ordering too much which I didn’t think it was I got three drinks total and one menu item. I was informed that it would take 35 min which was no problem at all it was slammed busy the line was out the door for a solid 2 hours I Ordered the lilikoi lime refresher one mauiwowie refreshed one latte and an avocado toast. I asked for a full order which is two slices and I was surprised when I only got one served to me it was in a Togo container and the container had avocado finger prints on the box. The toast was great just the box was given looking dirty, lilikoi lime refreshed didn’t taste like it had any lilikoi just tasted like a lime was squeezed over ice and water and it was hard to drink I took two sips and couldn’t finish it and because the guy who took my order didn’t seem all that friendly I didn’t really feel comfortable asking them to remake the drink the other two drinks were good. Going there is hit and miss sometimes it’s great and service is awesome but today just wasn’t one of those days. Will be a while...
Read moreI’ve been here about five times in the last couple of years. I keep coming back thinking I’ll like it and that the convenience of the drive-thru would be worth it. Each time the coffee has been honestly mediocre and lackluster in flavor. I had a crazy expensive croissant ($13) this last time and I could tell right away the egg inside was frozen and microwaved. The actual croissant though, came out burned (easy on the press next time). I got a hot ube latte with an extra shot, and geez…. wasn’t good at all, $11 for that puppy. My husband got the same thing and was like…. “WTF. Why did I get this.” My kids got the lilikoi lime refresher and absolutely hated them upon first sip, God had no mercy on me this time as mom, they tasted like sparkling water with a splash lime (no lilikoi or “passionfruit syrup” flavor to be found—like advertised on the menu). The atmosphere here though is really cool, the inside is pretty with the artwork, the merch is cute too. I think that’s what keeps me coming back, the brand. The actual product though, completely different story. 4/5 times here, the workers have been young girls who...
