The Food: Simple, yet elegant with premium ingredients.
What we ordered: 2x omakase menu $395x2=$790 Demon slayer sake $42 Divine Droplets sake $60
The Service: The staff was nice and accommodating but they could be a little more coordinated. (Fairly new restaurant at the time of this review, we were told that it’s the first time they have open the restaurant to non-Four Season guests)
The Atmosphere: Dim but lighting that accents the omakase counter/food (good lighting for photos) Open-air patio seating with a view (if before sunset), omakase bar is adjacent to the patio (beach view is behind you - if you’re there to see the sunset the omakase experience may not be for you)
Overall: For a very special occasion where you need to flex for your wife - ha ha
Other: Make sure you get to the resort early because you may get lost and you might have to get the golf cart to get you to where you need to be (no tip required)
Parking: Valet (free - no tip required)
Total Cost: $934.03 plus tip for 2

On the other hand the wagyu beef was out of this world and probably the best one we had. Would be five star but that was...
Read moreNoio was one of the best dining experiences I had while visiting Hawaii. The sushi is offered in a fairly traditional Japanese style, which is unusual but very delightful, and offered a unique and delicious experience. The sushi is clearly fresh and high quality and left me craving more.
The price is quite high but worth it and the view and ambiance of the ocean from the second floor of the Four Seasons Resort is amazing. If you’re visiting Kona and willing to splurge a bit on excellent sushi, Noio will definitely...
