Pizza Man — Restaurant in Hawaiian Gardens

I really used to like Pizza Man back in the day when there were more locations around. I found that there was one in Hawaiian Gardens. I decided to order a large 3 topping pizza and an 8 piece fried chicken to go. To be honest, once I was in there to pick up my order, I was thinking what a mess. There was random stuff just all over, it looked like they were closing down or something. No prices on the menu, I paid 32.00 for my food. I was kind of fearful of what my food was going to look and taste like. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it looked good and tasted great. The pizza was good, and the chicken was on point. Use to love these guys . The pizza was good and the price okay but with the coupons even better.

They deliver the coupons with the pizza and lately every time when you call to order they drive the price up and tell you the coupon is expired. There's no expectation date on the coupons and it doesn't matter if you order a pizza the next day they'll tell you the coupon is expired.

I don't know if they changed owners or management or what but certainly shady business practices.

If there was a minus star system they would get the maximum I could give. Crooked business owners don't deserve honest clients.

Recommendation? Steer clear of if they do shady business you can be certain something...

I recently moved to this area. The first time I ordered from this place, to be 100% honest, I was not liking the pizza too much, it was very dry. Then my Husband convinced me to order again but get extra sauce. For whatever reason, since then the pizza has been excellent. I usually get the supreme and it is great. They also have really good sausage and pineapple. Their toppings are very fresh. Now, I love the Pizza Man! This is a take out place only.
