I thought this place was a cool old school burger joint. This place has a classic menu with a few twists like Carne asada fries. They have a few booths inside as well as more seating outside. As I walked up I was helped by a couple of high school girls who didn't look to excited to be behind the counter. I ordered a 1/2 pound burger with fries, a coke and a riptide with oreos, which is the equivalent of a twister from Frosty's. Took almost 10 minutes to recieve my order which looked very yummy. I could tell it was an old school burger just by looking at it. Fries were hot and golden brown fresh out of the fryer. As I took my first bite of this 1/2 pound burger and thought it was a decent treating burger. The fries and burger definitely paired well together. As I threw back the last bite of burger and fries I felt content and ready to tackle this oreo riptide. This thing was pretty big and looked very appetizing to the eyes. I devoured this thing in a matter of minutes. But while I was destroying this thing I thought that it tasted very rich and creamy. Like, real ice cream and oreos and not syrups. When all was said and done I felt full and fabulous. If you're into old school burger joints or just want a decent burger then you should definitely give this...
Read moreI have been passing by this place for a few months and kept saying to myself that I would stop in and try it out. Finally, I had some extra time on my way home, so I stopped in and ordered some food. Very old fashioned establishment that reminded me of a Foster's Freeze. They have plenty of options for food and desserts. I went with the quarter pound bacon cheeseburger and spicy fries. The food came out piping hot and delicious! The price was a little more than I was expecting as the burger, fries, and a drink ran me about $20! I should've grabbed pics of the menu since most of the featured ones are pretty old. I saw a few people eating these ice cream cones that had a mountain of soft serve coming out the top! Definitely need to try one next time. The burger and toppings were super fresh and well cooked. I would've liked my bun toasted a little more. The bacon had a great texture and tasted amazing, not that floppy, thin, tasteless stuff that some burger joints use. The spicy fries were potato wedges with a sort of cajun seasoning that gave them a very slight spice. They were crispy but also pillowy and delicious!Plenty of parking behind the restaurant. I will definitely be back again, but more so as a...
Read more1st visit: Dairy Belle is pretty good. I had a 1/4lb burger, carne asada fries (small), and a large Dr. Pepper. The burger had good construction but the beef Patty was ordinary and underwhelming for a 1/4lb Patty. The carne asada fries were terrific! I'd be much happier if they had a smaller option than the small. The reasons for a 3 star are the burger is good but doesn't stand out and the total cost was almost a $20 bill. I am stuffed. The carne asada fries were great but again It'd be better half the size and half the cost.
2nd: Learning from the first visit, I ordered a 1/2lb burger with fries and a small vanilla shake. The burger is still constructed well but lacks flavor in the beef patty. For the 1/2lb they use two 1/4lb patties stacked. The regular fries are delicious and combine well with the vanilla shake. The fries and shake are some of the best I've had in the area. Meal cost was reasonable. I would pick this place over McD everytime: the bathroom is cleaner and the...
