Phở Tỷ #II — Restaurant in Hayward

Please do NOT come here!! They are shady all around!! I came here on September 24 2021, and forgot my purse with a lot of money in it. ( I understand I shouldn’t have carried that much money but I was on my way to go put a deposit down for my new place!) When I realized I left my purse at this restaurant I called them and they said they had it. So I was rushing to get there to pick it up , as soon as i get there they tell me that they did NOT have it. I kept going back and forth with them saying that someone over the phone had told me they did have it. When they realized that I was about to literally start crying & told them I wanted to see the cameras they said “ we don’t have any outside “ once I also mentioned the cameras the older women told the older man to give it to me. (Seems like they were the owners) THEY HAD IT THE WHOLE TIME BUT WERE LYING ABOUT IT!! Once he brought it out he said “you have a lot of money + money orders” and I said “ ohmygosh yes I do, what?!” And then he has the audacity to tell me to tip them.

THEY WERE BLACKMAILING ME TO GET MY OWNNNN PURSE!!!...

Completely disgusted! They served us with this colorful-melted-plastic-looking inside the thai tea that we ordered!My husband find it early before we finished the drink but still we already had a few sips.We already ingested whatever chemicals/germs / nasty bacteria it has inside. We called the lady and seems she is the owner and herself could not believe what she saw and hurriedly covered the tea with her hand and said “Oh my God sorry i will change your drink!”. And we said Nooooo and refused to get any drink at all. Then she came back explaining they figure it out and told us it was a couple of candy played by one of the kids that was placed in the container of ice for drinks..Until we left the place they keep saying sorry to us. Until now i feel nauseated. They are so irresponsible in making sure the food that they served is clean. The restroom is very filthy. We did not even finished the pho that we...

Food is great, but that's it; service is poor and owner tried to hustle me. This is my second time eating here (came yesterday) because food was good. First time waitress was kind of gangsta in taking my order, but chalked up to language and cultural barrier. Then today same waitress was a bit nicer, food good, but husband intentionally over charged. Lemonade advertised for $3, but he charged $3.65 claiming menu I used was old. However, all menus showed $3. He was willing to adjust my bill, but after i called him out on it. In addition, they charge for to-go containers, but food isn't less expensive than other places to office set. Another thing is language barrier, which I'm not rating but be ready to repeat or...
