L & L Hawaiian Barbecue — Restaurant in Hayward

This is NOT HAWAIIAN BBQ. This is Chinese food. I came here thinking that they were LNL Hawaiian barbecue and this is not it. The food is below average. They do not have any of the island combo plates. They do not have any of the Island white fish or shrimp. This is just greasy chow mein and rice with your choice of teriyaki chicken and orange chicken ect.. They should change their name to Chinese food or something like that. Not Hawaiian BBQ. If you are looking for more of a franchise quality food from L&L this ain't it. It's definitely independently own and products are way different quality compared to your typical L&L. They should rename their store to a different name because this is not L&L quality. The rice was different big grain , the Mac salad was watery, teriyaki sauce was more of a teriyaki marinade, the chicken katsu was not all that either . The only thing that was decent was the Hawaiian sun drink I got and the katsu sauce..... other than that I threw everything away wasted $20. The interior was empty and look like a construction site. It's honestly erie and sad inside. 10/10...

Classic Hawaiian to go. Given that we are still in COVID you can't eat in and there are no options to eat outside. When you get to the front door the whole place is blocked off by wood and plastic sheeting and transactions are done through a small cardboard box. This is not fast food. This is not health food.
