Mom's Homemade Bread — Restaurant in Hayward

I’m almost afraid to share this terrific find - Mom’s Homemade Breads, aka Mom’s Hawaiian Bakes, because it is so good! I found out about it on Instagram and had to try some of their Hawaiian inspired baked goods. So happy I did! It is located in East Bay Eats in Hayward, where you order food and pick up from various restaurants. I ordered the guava chiffon cake slices, malasada sampler, guava lava cookies, and POG juice. WOW, so good! My family loved everything.

There was a little mixup with my order when I picked it up. I didn’t realize until I got home that tbey forgot to include one of my guava chiffon cake slices. I contacted them, and the owner (Tina) immediately got back to me. She offered to drive my guava chiffon cake slice out to my home which was located more than 20 minutes away. Who does that?! Talk about going above and beyond to make sure your clients are taking care of! I offered to meet her at a convenient spot in my town, and she brought my guava cake slice along with some for her Cocoa puffs, a.k.a. mini cream puffs as an apology for not getting my order quite right. Again, who does that?! Kudos to Tina for her terrific customer service and more so for her desserts! We will be definitely be regular customers and can’t wait to try her...

OMG!!! ❤️❤️❤️ A little piece and a little slice of Hawai'i right in our backyard! Tina is such an amazing baker. So blessed that she could share her passion with our little ohana. We special ordered the Hawaiian Chantilly Cake and Toffee Lemon Crunch cupcakes. Everything was perfect not to sweet, light, and pillowy - it was biting into a piece of heaven. It was a huge hit with all our guests!...

Best bakes in all of the Bay! I ordered a cake for a birthday in the office & the whole team was raving all afternoon. The Coffee Crunch was delicious. Cant wait for the next birthday so we can...
