Sundaes with Annabell and Charlotte — Restaurant in Hayward

Stopped in Hayward on the way through to Bayfield and decided to look for ice cream. Was not aware the muskie festival was going on! Watched the parade for a bit, then snuck in here before it was over, so it wasn't too busy yet.

Great selection of ice cream. Yippy Skippy was a favorite, and Superman and Cotton Candy. Did the 2 scoop bowl for everyone even though it was kind of expensive at like $8 per bowl. However, when I saw the kids walking out with their bowls (I was waiting on the sidewalk with the dogs), I was shocked that my wife would let them get that much ice cream. Then she informed me it was the 2 scoop bowl??? Maybe it was more 'a bowl filled with 2 kinds of ice cream'? The serving size was generous, and it's the first time I have seen our kids complain about having to finish their ice cream.

So, while expensive, it was worthwhile, servings are good size and dozens of flavors to choose from, but my recommendation is to stick with the 1 scoop unless you just cannot decide between 2 flavors.
