I am giving this store a zero in all honesty. This is my third encounter with this manager and everytime she is the rudest. I placed a hot order however, all my food was cold. At first she agreed to make my sandwiches over then stopped as she walked away to remake them and said I'm not doing anything and I am not giving you a refund get out. I told her I was calling 911 to get the police there because she refused to give me back my money. We are both on the phone with 911 but she is lying saying that I threatened to attack her. She also refused to give me her name so I can report her to corporate. The other two times, we had incidents were she was accusing me a stealing from door dash as I opened my bag to check the order. In both incidents I told I don't work for them this is my order and I am checking to make sure it is right. Ever since she started here I have had problems with her and looking at other reviews, I can't help but to think it is race related. Before her, the staff was friendly, would ask you about your day and management was good to customers from my perspective. I want to thank the young man who saw everything. He said she wrong and she have given me back my money or remade the sandwiches like she had promised. I was not rude to her at all. I just wanted my kids to have a hot meal. This store is really going in a bad direction and I will not ever return as people of color are truly discriminated against by this staff. Also, they refused to give me any information to file a complaint with the store owner or Subway corporate office. Word to the wise don't come here at all....
Read moreI stopped in at the subway on 9 mile/John R today for lunch and was completely disappointed. Let me start by saying, the store looked so dirty and filthy! I come here a lot and I’ve never seen the store look so bad. The blonde manager normally has it so clean, neat and up to par. I was waiting in line for over 20 minutes. There was two workers, a younger female girl with longer hair and a tall guy, even though they were doing a good job, they just weren’t moving quick enough. There was a third employee outside smoking by the front door and texting on their phone. Looked like a man but spoke like a girl. I was tired of waiting, and left. As I got outside, (20 minutes after waiting) the third employee was still outside smoking. I said excuse me, is the manager in? She said yes, I’m the manager. I asked for the blonde manager and she told me she had been fired. I said, I’ve been waiting for 20 minutes and do not want to wait any longer, you might want to go help them inside because the line is long. She said, well if you’re tired of waiting you can go next door. She was very rude and unprofessional! Her tone was harsh, almost as if she was in a power trip.
