McDonald's — Restaurant in Hazelwood

Edit: this place has gone WAY down and quality control depends solely on what manager is on duty at the time . There is ONE manager, a late-middle aged lady, who runs a TIGHT ship to ensure everyone works efficiently and customers get the quality they pay for and should be able to take for granted. She's fair and firm and no nonsense. Without her present on shift, the staff 1. consistently uses STALE Crumbly, OLD inedible buns. They KNOW they're doing it. And they don't care. The burgers after 7pm are CONSISTENTLY old, COLD, and DRIED out. They IGNORE quality control, and goop on mayo condiments, give brown wilted slimy expired lettuce. 4.if you pay for extras (cheese, lettuce, sauces) they prepare the sandwich like their intentions are to punish you. FIST full of lettuce, GIANT ladel of sauce. No pickles?? Here's TEN pickles. Unsweetened ice tea? Here's some tea with a CUP of sugar. -I know that all sounds exaggerating. It's not. It's literal. Several times I've taken things back in. Most recently it was an old fish filet that was double fried until it was dark brown and the meat was plastic/rubber inside. When I took it in, the GOOD manager called them out. And told them FRESH buns, FRESH sandwiches! ALWAYS. But she can't be there always... So...seems best times to go are 6am-0730. And 1030 am to 1330. After that, 50/50 chance your food will be sabotaged and inedible. Beforewarned** Original post from 2021: Best McDonald's in North County. Everybody knows you go to McDonald's for the fries. This location realizes it to so their fries are ALWAYS on point. Never stale, never burned or dried out. Consistently hot, golden crispy and fluffy with perfect amount of salt. Other McDonald's are Russia roulette/ luck of the draw inconsistent. PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD..... DRIVE THE EXTRA MILE!!!! THIS MAYBE THE WORST MCDONALDS I HAVE BEEN TO ACROSS AMERICA ... AND SADLY IT IS RIGHT BY THE HOUSE.... RUN FOR YOURE STOMACHS!!! Just ordered from this McDonalds for the LAST TIME. My frozen Fanta strawberry was NOT frozen. It was just Fanta, maybe 2/3 full, with about 3 ice cubes in it. My fries (husband said his as well) were no more than half full, and ice cold. We got 2 iced coffees, both less than 2/3 full, again with like 3 ice cubes. Chicken sandwich was edible. Not good, just edible. It's always a gamble getting food here, never once have we gotten a completely correct order. Their ice cream machine has NEVER been working any time we've been there, and we've lived in this area for over 20 years. We've stopped going there a few times, and maybe a year goes by, and we think "maybe things are better now?" IT NEVER IS. I'm done with them. It used to be cheap, so you could be a little forgiving. NOPE. Not any more. Try the Florissant IHOP! Any time we feel like eating out, that's where we go. The wait staff is so nice, they always go out of their way to make everything perfect, our orders are always correct, it's very clean... It's the only sit down restaurant we go to anymore.
