Food is ok . But my issue is unrelated but touches on service . This is by far the worst place to pick food up as a delivery driver . The cook has no respect for dasher s or uber eats drivers he literally plays with hes phone instead of preparing thr order for the delivery drivers I can't even count how many times the cook has done this the orders for pick up are almost never ready . It's absurdity can't wrap my head around it cause what gets me is the store is never busy when I come in for pick up seems the cook just wants to cook when he wants but not when the delivery ticket comes threw . Before I moved to the area, there was a LaRosa down the road. It was one of the places I would come to miss after making the move. I was delighted to find LaRosa in Hazlet right down from my new home. My family and I have been coming here for quite some time now and we love it every time. I would say I order at least 1-2x a week whether it be dine in or take out. The staff is always beyond friendly. They have gotten to know us by name and even know our order. It's nice to find a spot that when you walk in you're greeted with a smile and your order is known. I have brought multiple family members and friends to share these experiences with me and the crew and food always deliver. If I could leave a 5 star review for every time I have visited I would. We decided to try this place after herring good things. The food was good I must say. I bit pricey but good non the less. However my issue is with the service. While they were friendly and greeted us after taking our order and paying we were left to stand and watch others come and go for 20 min. After some time and realizing they must have forgot us, I stepped up to the counter to ask if there was an issue. No no issues here’s your food.. so I’m left standing there directing in fron of the pick up line for 20 min while my food is in the bag next to register fo some unknown reason.
