Hazlet Skatepark — Attraction in Hazlet Township

My 7 year old son asked me to take him to a skatepark to ride his bike. I googled skateparks near me, and Hazlet park came up. When we first arrived there were just a few young dudes there... within moments they were friendly with my son, and being very considerate of his safety. After an hour or so, many other older dudes showed up.. several of whom were very talented. Again.. despite the speed and space they need for their tricks, they were all real considerate of my son, and were very careful of not colliding with him. Phenomenal place to bring your son ... he immediately assimilated and wanted to impress them. That strengthened his courage and he began taking more aggressive risks, once he realized they were watching him. Very cool day.. very cool place. Thanks to those dudes for being so cool...

Not a fan of this skatepark. Took my son over here to ride his scooter. The drops on most of the ramps are not smooth. Grass growing on the edges. Plenty of parking but not worth the 20 to 30 min drive here. Won't b back...
