Ralphs Italian Ices — Restaurant in Hazlet Township

I have heard great things about this place and saw that it had some great reviews, so I was extremely excited to come and try it out. However, from what I’ve experienced, all I have learned is that place does not care about their customers and uses outdated/incorrect information in its advertisements. Since this location is almost two hours from my house, I decided to call ahead and make sure they were open. I was met with an automated message that just told me where they were located and what their hours were, (those hours being 12-10pm). Since both the website and the phone call said this location was open until 10pm, I started the two hour drive at 6pm, and arrived around 8pm. When I arrived, the store was completely dark and empty, despite being advertised as open. I checked the website again to ensure I was at the right location, and I was. I was at the location that was falsely advertised as being open. Essentially, I was promised dessert and received nothing but a pointless 4 hour drive. This store really needs to work on their customer service, because their false advertisements, outdated information, and insufficient contact options make it clear they could care less about their customers. This location has truly disappointed me and I’ll never come here again. I recommend that everyone else does the same. Everyone, please spend your money somewhere that actually cares about...

This ice cream place used to be great! But now not so much… I will tell you about my experience today, first my mom was getting the atm machine to get money, in the door the lady saw us but when my brother and I went to order she was nowhere to be found. Finally another couple came and didn’t see her either, then she came out with an attitude. I got the strawberry shortcake Italian ice with gummy bears. When it came out it had chocolate ice cream inside it. Disgusting! Does not mix together nor did I ask for it!! My mom got the Ralphaccino that also had chocolate ice cream in it and nor did she ask for it either!! Worst experience at this place! Will never go again!! The supposed manager Ryan of this location was on his cellphone while customers were waiting and when we said something he gave us attitude, said you just got up here, said are you serious or was that sarcastic. I’m the manager so I’m allowed to be on the phone. No apology no nothing. He claims he was talking to his boss but if it was the boss they would understand customers come first. Update: I’m being harassed by the owner to take this down when this experience actually happened and I’m not happy with how the owner or the employee handled...
