Benito's Restaurant & Lounge — Restaurant in Hazleton

My wife and I pass through Hazelton a few times per year. We travel to Virginia and stop here from our home in Massachusetts. We've tried many restaurants in our travels through Hazelton and found the restaurant we've searched for. Upon arrival to Benitos it began with slow service but improved rapidly. Our food came and was delicious and plentiful. We each took half our meals to go the portions were so large. This place I would recommend to everyone passing through Hazelton. I am most certain we will return many times...

Food was OK, nothing "out of this world." My pasta plate was swimming in sauce. It was OK, overall, just too much sauce. The atmosphere was modern, but wasn't too relaxing and the music they were playing wasn't very appropriate for a dining experience. It was basically EDM or something around that genre. Truly, I liked the old Benito's better, it was more relaxing and they certainly didn't play that music.

We'll probably go back again, hopefully, it'll be a little better. No complaints with the...

Anaconda Stromboli, pickle pizza (the only place I’ve tried it that I actually like it…and it’s delicious!), stuffed mushrooms, everything we have ever tried there was very well worth it! First time there was during Covid, so that was interesting. The restaurant side was closed but they were open for take out…you have to enter the beer shop on the corner to find your food! Their food is highly recommended. Try the pickle pizza, even if you don’t like it...
