Warning- it can be addicting to live in the same town as The Flour Girl and to have such easy access to their revolving door of tasty treats! I say I’m just going to stop by for a loaf of their irresistible sourdough (always a variety of sweet and savory flavors to choose from) but then walk out EVERY time with pastry items that never disappoint. Whoever told you to get bread and bakery items somewhere else, tell them they are wrong, turn around and head to The Flour Girl Bakery in Hebron for the best sourdough breads and baked goods east of the river, maybe west too! The freshest and best smelling and tasting bread anywhere. Everytime we go to a family dinner, we are in charge of getting the bread here, since the first time I bought it for a dinner at our house. When we moved to Connecticut, one of our most important criteria was having a friendly cafe with great coffee and good food nearby. The Flour Girl blew our expectations away. We're in here 3-4 times a week for a latte or delicious bakery treat, and the staff is amazing and sweet and really make the place feel like a second home.
