We wanted so badly to love this place but the only thing that was right…Was my water. Bless the server, she was certainly trying. Our Bloody Mary’s were straight vodka and tomato juice but we got that straightened out. We waited for an eternity for one meal, that we were splitting. It came out full of onions, which was the only thing we asked not to have. The waitress finally came by and told us we had someone else’s order, took it from our table and delivered it to its owner……after we had touched it to investigate for onions. Awhile later, the 2nd attempted order came out…. Again with onions. We were needing to leave since we had been waiting for so long, she offered to have the kitchen make me another meal. We got to sit and listen to the kitchen berate the server and her try to explain herself to them. After all of this, we were still charged for everything. I had to give a star for service, otherwise there wouldn’t be a star. We had the worst service we’ve ever had in our 70+ years! After sitting there waiting for our food for well over an hour (they were not busy) and saw 2 other tables that came in at least 15 minutes after we did get their food, I flagged down the waiter. I asked where our food was and he rudely said, as he pointed to another table, that we came in way after they did. The other two at my table immediately said ‘Oh no they didn’t!’. Our waiter brought out our food finally and then totally ignored us. The little gal that was filling coffees started to come toward our table and he told her he just gave us coffee. Both of us that were drinking coffee had empty cups. The other person with us didn’t ever get her soda refilled. He made one of the other wait staff bring our bill to us. We will not ever go back and will be sure to relay our service to our many friends! Do better...

Passing through Helena, I stopped with my kids for a sit down meal. When we arrived we were not greeted kindly, it felt like we were disturbing someone even though the place was fairly empty. When we sat down, our server took our order and the atmosphere remained "chilly" like we were a nuisance to the staff. While we waited for our food we could hear the cook, I believe I heard him called Mike, ranting and raving and cussing about being there all the time and being overwhelmed even though the restaurant was not busy. This isn't anything I appreciate my kids hearing. When our food arrived, it was burnt and barely warm. I asked them to fix our food and was met with a look of contention and nothing was done regarding our food. My kids and I quickly ate what we could and promptly left without leaving a tip. Next time we're in Helena we will definitely find some other place to eat and spend my hard...
