Stopped in to try their chicken and because I thought it was cheaper than what I found when I arrived (prices and menu has slightly changed, I'll include it below, but I couldn't get a good picture in the lighting). The chicken was very good, I got traditional wings with their gold sauce and side of fries. And while I usually appreciate when the wings are served heavily sauce, I wasn't huge fan of the gold. It just didn't have a great flavor that really stood out. It's fine but being coated so thick made it a little difficult to eat all of the wings. And I was glad I wasn't charged to have ranch with my wings, but I found that didn't complement the gold sauce very much. The fries were very good though and seasoned perfectly with a seasoned salt. Not a large draft selection, but looks like some very good options. I really enjoyed Geoman's Gold. Found it very refreshing. And it's served in a large, glass, chilled goblet. But $25 before tip for that meal was definitely more than I found it to be worth.

The inside is nice though. The booths in the corner I sat in very comfortable. Tables a little small, but perfect for two people each. Staff was polite and friendly. There is also a small casino, which as far as that goes, the only reason I would consider hanging out in it is because they offer some decent deals for food and drink if you spend modest amounts and I think during specific hours you can get 3 free drinks per hour. So that'd be worth it if you enjoy playing on little variety of slot machines. There might be more, I didn't look very closely. Bathrooms were pretty...

Heard about this place from others and decided when we were here this weekend to pay a visit. First, the place has a casino too so it's very busy. We lucked up and was seated pretty much immediately. We ordered onion rings as an appetizer. They were run of the mill frozen onion rings, which you can buy in the supermarket. The little green salad was pretty much a bowl of lettuce and one single cherry tomato. The bleu cheese dressing was out of a packet. So far, so MEH. Almost 40 min later the chicken arrived. Their famous "broasted" chicken. Came with what they call jojos, which appear to be longways sliced potatoes which are fried. First, the chicken. It was tasty. That's the extent of my description. From the folklore I guess I expected more. It wasn't horrible, it wasn't outstanding. It just...was. Now for the jojos. While they arrived in the basket with the chicken, the temps were way different. The jojos were barely warm. The chicken wasn't piping hot either but the jojos, they should be ashamed to serve that. So we can now say we've done Suds n Duds....oops wrong name, but kinda accurate. Come on Helena, you have to have something...

Sadly this is one of my favorite restaurants and a place I frequent. Tonight I took my 81 yr gma to dinner and my son. The waitress i believe her name was Brooke was far from friendly and she seemed like we were a bother. She gave my elderly gma a big slam she couldn't barely lift it. I had to ask other wait staff and casino runner for things because checking on us I guess wasn't in her job description. We waited over 45 min for food, it got to the point I had to ask what was going on. I've been there when there is only standing room and was always informed. Been going here since I was little! My Brother worked here and lived in the apartment upstairs (70's/80's). I work in a bar restaurant and know etiquette. This was very disappointing. My gma was very dissatisfied to the point she almost didn't tip but that's not what we do. Usually the food is amazing and the service! The music was pretty loud couldn't hold much of a convo. Smiles and great customer service goes a long way. I was hoping to get my gma out to a nice dinner considering she doesn't get out much. Better luck next time I guess. Maybe shellies is a better option for...

We’ve been hearing a lot of good things about this place and finally checked it out. I’m pleasantly surprised and was impressed by the food, drinks and vibes. This is a casino as well so you can do sports bets here. The fried chicken was really well done and I’m very curious to learn more about their broasting method as it was very juicy and fried well. The fries are great and the chicken tenders are good. If you come here once; Try the “Broasted chicken dinner” with a beer to enjoy the drink container I will update as I come again as what I would have multiple times! There are multiple things on the menu I’m excited to try.

Great food, but the place is definitely a bar. They really expected us to order alcoholic beverages, but we were on a long road trip and didn't want to drink because we were switching driver's back and forth. I could tell the waitress was a little confused when we refused the entire drink menu, but I explained everything and she was friendly. We got great service. In the food. Was definitely worth it. I was also glad that it was a little quiet in the middle of the day before most people got off work.
