We were invited to a friends birthday gathering at the new cigar lounge next door. We went early and decided to go a little early and go have a drink at St. Pete’s while we waited for the rest of our party to get there so we could just walk over to the cigar lounge. I love this place it’s a nice chill place. The drinks are great, , the bartenders are very friendly. I have no complaints about that. I have a complaint on one of the bouncers that was working the entrance this past Saturday night. So, we finished our one drink, our friends finally got there so we left and walked over to the cigar lounge had some drinks there celebrating the birthday boy we were there a little while then we decided to go back to Pete’s Place to go listen to the band that was playing and have more drinks and finish off our night there. When we went back the same bouncer from earlier did not want to let us back in. He told us that they do not allow anyone that’s coming from the cigar lounge bc the bartenders over there over pour their drinks and their customers go in there drunk and have issues with them. I told him that they didn’t over pour our drinks they measured the liquor on the drinks they were making. He proceeded to tell me, well they might not have done it to yall but that they normally over pour their drinks and said we cannot let you in if your coming from over there. And it was early it was like around 11ish we probably had 2 drinks at the cigar lounge when we decided to go back to Pete’s only to get turned away with that lame as excuse. That was the most stupidest excuse we have heard. It was Saturday night!!!! Who doesn’t like to do a little bar hopping!!! We just wanted to have a good time and enjoy the atmosphere there at Pete’s. I wanna know if that is really their policy or if that was just the bouncer that didn’t want to let us back in. I have messaged thru Facebook already and waiting to hear back from them. I don’t think that was right on their part as none of us were drunk or following over or...
Read moreI was denied access in the bar because the bouncers thought my ID was fake. I went around the back to talk to the other bouncer and explained what happened and told him i also have four other cards stating my DOB and he let me in after i asked if he was sure about it. not even 30 seconds later the other bouncer grabs me and takes me outside while explaining to the other bouncer why i couldn’t be there. Back door bouncer was super cool and didn’t give any problems but according to the front door bouncer I was being belligerent and shaking. All of my friends were there to witness the entire interaction and all agree that he just didn’t want let me in, as he stated to them I “would have caused problems” and the “shaking” or “beligerante” Look this isn’t even a huge deal to me I’m just so upset because i’ve been here a few times and had great...
Read moreWe decided to come here after my friend’s wedding on 02/23/25 around 10pm. The bouncer checked our IDs and then insinuated we all had fakes since our IDs were from different states. We flew in for the wedding, not everyone is going to be local obviously. Then, they decided to not ID the groom’s father and grandfather but insisted that the groom’s aunt needed to get carded. She didn’t have her ID on her but she clearly looked over 21. When we asked why she needed to be ID’d but not the other two male relatives, the bouncer said “it’s different.” How is it different? Sexist much? And then the bouncer and bartender began to rudely tell her to leave. We simply wanted to continue the celebration for the newly wedded couple and received AWFUL service. Would...
