Besso's Coffee — Restaurant in Henderson

i came to visit my friend at college and it was supposed to a great time, i really missed her and we went to go get coffee and catch up. this place actually ruined that experience. I went to order and the manager was the one attending to us. I asked for hot tea with honey and a muffin, and the manager let out this huge hateful sigh when i asked for tea, like its not that hard to make, then snapped at my friend and got insanely short with us when trying to order. when it all finally came out after 20 minutes, they had given me a coffee and a stale clearly past date pastry. I am lactose intolerant and cant have coffee so i took one sip and was sick for the rest of the day, and the muffin just made it worse. when i asked if i could have my correct drink, she snapped at me and told me no, and if i wanted another drink i would have to pay for it again, but like??? i already paid for it??? i just want my tea bro. we tried to have a good time but unfortunately we were sitting closer to the counter, and all we could hear was the employees talking abt gross subjects, and how annoying customers were. it hurt my feelings even more. we left and went to her dorm to make our own tea and watch movies, and that was way better than wasting our time...

Stop here if you get any opportunity! The coffees were delicious. We’ve made sure to stop twice on our way through traveling across the country and got lattes with almond and oat milks, and a mocha so far. They also had really fun seasonal lattes for spring, and some good looking house made salads, sandwiches and pastries for grab and goes as well as a made to order menu. I also really enjoy the atmosphere and decor as well as the great outdoor alley area with lighting and seating!

The real highlight this time was the over the top service and kindness I was given. I realized a few hours down the road that one of my earrings that is special to me was missing, and my heart dropped because it could have fallen out any number of places. This was the only place I had any hope of finding it so I sent up a prayer and called. A wonderful gentlemen answered the phone and he offered to go outside and check right away, where he found it surprisingly fast! I live 10 hours away so I couldn’t pick it up, and he offered to ship it to me and refused to take payment. So, I may be a little extra biased, but this is a pretty fantastic place with some people behind the counter that are rare to find. :)...

The staff was great and very friendly! The price for the amount of coffee you get is really good, and the coffee isn’t watered down. The vibe in this place is great and really gives you that “I’m not in a small town” feeling. It was a good place to escape to. The place is HUGE and it has several choices for seating. I sat in the front corner at a cozy round table, and read a book. My ONLY complaint is that they didn’t have oat milk as a milk alternative. I personally think it’s the best for coffee, but my coffee was good nonetheless. It’s nice to know that I’ll have somewhere to get a good coffee for an amazing price when...
