I would give a zero if the app allowed it.
Please. Don't. Go!
Save your time and money and go to a REAL steakhouse where you will get prompt service from the servers and quality food for the money. And not be harassed by a under trained Sous Chef who wont belittle you when you let her know that her food is not up to par.
Its like the other reviewers went to a different restaurant.
My Experience: HORRIBLE. Very short staffed. Only one server and one person bussing tables. I was at the restaurant on 9-18 and there was literally 6 tables that had guests. It took awhile to get served with bread, drinks, and water. My friend ordered a shrimp cocktail and I ordered a Merlo with French Onion Soup. Entree, he ordered a Rib Eye (Rare plus) not sure what that is... but so be it. I ordered a Rib eye Medium rare.
Once the 1st part of the meal arrived, my Soup had virtually no cheese and had a very mediocre taste.... almost like it came out of a can. I tried a few minutes to let the server know that I didn't care for the soup but no one was around. I waited and waited without eating the soup, while my friend ate his shrimp cocktail. Finally, after 10 min. I decided to suck it up and eat the soup as I was starving from not eating since breakfast. I inhaled the bread to stifle the hunger pangs and washed it down with the Merlo.
25 minutes pass and our main course comes out. The food runner takes off. My friends steak was COLD. My meal looked okay, but I waited to eat. Again, the server finally came over after 10 min of looking over the 6 tables that were occupied. He let her know that it was not done right... she took my friends meal back.... Meanwhile, i have not touch my meal waiting for his meal to be cooked properly . We waited another 15 minutes and my friend said lets get out of this place and go across the parking lot and get a friggin burger. He paid his bill for the appy and left for the rest room and as I was finishing up my bill, I was approached by the Sous Chef (Kim) and she asked what the problem in a very crust and standoff manner. I explained that my friend's steak was not to his liking, and then she tried to explain how it was cooked properly. Honestly, I am not sure about the way he wanted the steak cooked. Regardless, it was not to his satisfaction.
Then i brought up my soup not being satisfactory. The Sous Chef said in a condescending tone that NO ONE ever complained about her soup before and I was the first. Good gawd. I didnt want a debate with her. I was quite shocked at her tone and attitude. She then took the steaks and left without asking me what I want, or how she could make it right, or any of the usual customer service methods.
I paid my bill for a class wine and the crappy soup. $35-ish. Oh the server did give me a consolatory glass of wine.
And.... the story continues. I left the restaurant and wanted to speak with the hotel manager to let them know of my experience. I am not looking for a hand out or discount.. I just wanted to let them know. Apparently,, no managers were around. I find that odd, especially at 8pm. The hotel clerk was available, and I asked to be contacted by a manager the next day. He took diligent notes and said it would be addressed.
... .Next day comes and I visit the front desk as I didn't get any calls or text from the hotel leadership. The clerk hands me a letter from the food and beverage manager stating that she had a conversation with all parties (whomever that is and not with me) and she feels that I was adequately compensated and considered the matter closed. Can a guest be even further disrespected! I made mention to the clerk again, that the letter was insulting and I still wanted a hotel manager to call me to discuss the matter.
As of this date, no one has contacted me to talk about the incident.
So. Don't. Ever. Go.

Read moreI loved the food, it was delicious. But one thing really made it unprofessional, as we made our order with our waitress for drinks, a lady who was also a waitress interrupted our order to tell our waitress that another table needs a coffee. Overall it was delicious food. Just wish some of the workers acted more professional . Also we made a reservation for 19:30 and showed up about 19:15 the hostess really made us wait till 19:31 to be seated in the table that was open the entire time. 😂 Now that the service part is over, let's talk about the delicious food. We started our meal with delicious bread and butter that was complimentary. There was a brown bread that had nuts and fruit in it and that bread my wife truly enjoyed. Also came with a white bread with a bunch of seeds on it that was my favorite bread it was so soft and so delicious. I then ordered as an appetizer French onion soup and let me tell you it was probably one of my favorite French onion soups because it wasn't overly salty. As we continued our evening I ordered the 20 oz prime rib and let me tell you that prime rib cut just like the butter it was perfect I had so much flavor delicious sauce and horseradish dip also came with a baked potato. The steak being 20 oz it really didn't really need a big potato but it was good, I also ordered the creamed spinach, reminded me of my mom's spinach so all in all, other then the service it...
Read moreThe hostess informed me that I couldn't buy a piece of cake to go. The only reason I was asking is because I saw someone else with a piece of cake to go. It wasn't leftovers. It was a brand new piece of tiramisu in a plastic container that I could see sitting in her bag. It look like tiramisu to go. As a matter of fact it was. This is the hostess cool I have never seen stop reading her book. I've been to a few restaurants and I've seen a view hostesses. Usually it's someone who is smiling and greeting people as they come up to the restaurant. When I asked her why the lady could get a piece to go and I could not she didn't have an answer for me. She just told me no. She directed me to the other restaurant across the hall. Problem is they don't sell what I wanted to buy. All the food comes out of the same kitchen. I asked the people at the other restaurant if I could buy that particular piece of cake. They said no. That can only be sold at the other restaurant. The lady was nice and said she would but they put a lock on it at night when they leave. So they didn't want to sell me a $12 piece of cake. If it's a policy or something I don't have a problem with it.. when you do something for one person and you don't do it for another that screams some kind of bias. And I'm pretty sure it's just that lady sitting at the front who does nothing. I hope they don't pay much because she literally...
