Iron Rail Cafe — Restaurant in Henderson

Worst food ever baked potato was hard and cold. Matter of fact everything that came was pretty much cold or ice cold. Don't mind croutons but when you empty the bag and you get nothing but crouton dust it doesn't make the salad appetizing. Waited over an hour and a half for food waited close to a half hour 45 minutes to get our order taken and asked for a plate it took 10 minutes I timed them yes I was so irritated with everything else that I did. Don't care if you're short staff. That doesn't give you an excuse to not take care of customers properly I've been in restaurants that had been short-staffed and did not have the same problems as I did last night. The kooks I don't know what they were doing food cold undercooked overcooked the steak was overcooked. Not the way it was ordered. Ask for management never came over. And when I called management gave me one excuse after another with a condescending patronizing tone. Last time we go here this is their second strike. I hope the go out of business with serving cold hard potatoes and over cook steaks and cold too. Go out of business or hire new cooks. And I wish I could get my money back it was not worth the 100 dollars. Best advice for future customers: ...

Don't get me wrong, the wait staff was great. The way they handled the issue says to me they deal with this on a regular basis. So far, Bloodymarys were ok, nothing fancy just a lemon. Ordered loaded nachos for the appetizer, came out cold, had to send back. They came back warm but the chips were stale and they were the type you get at a convenience store when you make your own. Ordered ceasar salad, got a regular salad swimming in ceasar dressing, pretty much inedible. Hubby ordered salad, got soup instead. Soup was passed off to another customer and hubby was brought his salad. Ordered half rack ribs with fries, ribs were tender (definitely not slow grilled more like parboiled) no seasoning, doused in barbeque sauce. Both fries, ribs and vegetables were cold. Sent my dinner back, honestly didn't even want anything else, completely turned off. If your going to serve a good menu, serve it well even if your serving hotdogs! I noticed that kitchen staff at the cafe split their schedule with the more pricey restaurant across from the cafe. I wonder if the food which is quite pricier at that restaurant...

The servers don't understand or care about allergies or accuracy. We were told that the spaghetti was homemade, my husband got it. It was definitely straight out a can. Possibly the noodles too. I can't eat at all gluten and can order around the menu to work with my intolerances. I got a coleslaw and fries. I was told the fries were not breaded. They came out with so much obvious breading I did not touch them. Their reasoning was they don't do it in house.... the box should have the ingredients on the side at least. I ended up taking 2 bites of our coleslaw and could not eat it. Just dry, and the little liquid there was was so tasteless.

We got the fries removed from the bill, paid the rest, and basically left the meal in full just to have to leave the hotel to buy food anyways. I could not recommend this place less. I would not take...
