From the tv not working, to the 1 3/4 hour+ ordeal to change rooms… to the staff never contacting you, as to what they were doing to resolve issue. To being handicapped, and being moved from the 1st floor request, to a forth floor room, to packing up, and moving to new room, during a emotional tragic family issue… which was reason for the stay, to having management never reaching out to make things, right, and hearing back from them… and all being last year a Diamond level tier customer, to this year being a platinum tier customer, we find the attention to details, and the customer, to be not a important factor, nor priority, to the management of this franchise. Stay other places is my honest opinion, as the experience, was truly not to the expectation, of a relaxing, trouble free stay, compared to the last 5 stays at other Ihg propertys. It wasn’t just one thing, From the over cooked(burnt edges on breakfast sausage and even the burnt edges of egg omelets,) to handicap parking issues, due to many, (3 to 4) motorcycles in every handicap space, 16 in total being allowed to park, in the few designated spots, to the maintainence department unprofessional attire these issues…may be subjective, depending upon each persons personal opinion, however… if we did not go to them, they never did call to say anything. And mentioned they forgot to notify us, about, we can change our room, or go without a tv for the weekend. Making us very late, to a family dinner, to discuss the funeral arrangements of a deceased parent. After flying in 8 hrs, to arrive to these issues. In talking directly to management, about the issue, there rectifying response was not, what you would expect, and the cost of the stay, was not worth the experience. As owner of a 30+ year company, we never would of survived, with this type of...
Read moreI traveled a lot mostly as a younger man. I ride a Harley with some good dudes. We travel back and forth this is a nice middle spot after a long day. I had no freaking idea, what a beautiful clean nice friendly hotel this is. And don't even get me started on the egg white bell pepper cream cheese omelettes in the morning or if you want a little fat in your diet the killer looking s* on a shingle. The gravy and biscuits. I think everything to Jared. I'm not sure if I'm spelling his name correctly he's the manager he hooked me up on an early check-in kind of a spontaneous thing I did not have reservations I'm not saying he could do that for everyone. Angelique the darling with the dreadlocks is absolutely fabulous. I mean I don't know if she's single or not and that's really none of my business I ought to leave it at that. And then the young lady I forgot angelique's name so I just spoke to Kaylee and the same thing like perfect customer service a thousand stars cleanliness everything about the place fine dining a hundred feet away from the lobby into the railroad casino I had the fried chicken and mashed potatoes I added a can of brussel sprouts and that also was delicious and that gentleman's name I am sorry I forgot I took it to go brought it back to my room long day. But I just wanted to say thank you to everyone over there it is a newer hotel I'm sure everything ages like we do in time with time. But they seem to do a fantastic job of keeping it up. If you want to spend a couple more bucks I think they have some sweets with the pull out sofa. And I just wanted to say thank you for them getting me an early check in without a reservation and the yogurt and the apple and the milk...
Read moreWe stayed here on our way to AZ. The hotel was ridiculously overpriced but we really had no other choice because the other hotel we usually stay at was booked and we needed a place to stay after a very long drive. They were very clearly price gouging. It was right at $300 for a room and that is just unacceptable. Very nice new hotel, and at the price point, we would have expected that everything would have been perfect. Right after we checked into our room, we discovered the internet wasn't working. I called the front desk and was informed that the internet wasn't working and they wouldn't have it fixed until the following day. Unacceptable. We then tried to call over to the casino to order some dinner and kept getting transferred all around to anywhere except the actual restaurant. we ended up having to get dressed again to go out late at night over to the gross, smoky casino and wait there to get to get a subpar meal to take back to our room. Another thing that was pretty pathetic is the garbage cans in front of the hotel were overflowing all over the ground when we checked out.
We asked to speak to a manager twice and were told there was no manager on duty. The front desk clerk did knock some off of the price of our room, but, thanks to their price gouging, we still paid more than what the room should have normally been.
I guess the moral of the story is, if you are going to charge high dollar prices, then your guests should be provided with more than a motel 6 experience. Also, price gouging is sick and wrong and you should be ashamed of yourselves...
