We are retired and live in Boulder City. Many of us locals have been looking forward to having an option to Railroad Pass Casino for gaming, eating and drinking.
We were very excited to try it out and went for the first time this week. I ordered the Chili and my wife ordered the Club Sandwich. They were both just ok.
The most disappointing thing was the unfriendly and unattentive staff. I counted a total of 7 girls on duty which was certainly plenty of staff if not a little overstaffed for the amount of clientele. Indeed, when we walked in, we counted 4 of the girls were behind the merchandise counter at the main entrance and were all talking to each other loudly. Only 1 of them looked up and just nodded at us as we walked in. No Hello, Welcome or anything.
For the majority of the time we sat at the bar and played/ate/drank, the staff spent the vast majority of their time talking to each other and looking at their phones. They only seemed to talk to the customers when they absolutely had to and seemed as if they were doing us all a favor by doing so. I spoke with some of the other customers sitting next to us and they all agreed that the staff did not even seem to recognize that it was in fact us, the customers, who were the actual reason for their employment. They seemed much more interested in talking and interacting with each other than with making the customers feel welcomed and appreciated.
Never once after we were served our food did anyone ever come back to check on us to see if everything was satisfactory. We actually had to ask for our bill so we could pay and leave.
On a positive note, I played Video Poker for almost an hour and walked out even, so that was fun.
It looks like we will in fact continue driving into Henderson to PT's or one of the other excellent gaming/eating/drinking neighborhood pubs. All of them at least have friendly staff that appreciate your business and treat you with respect.
I absolutely DO NOT recommend the new Bullet Train at Railroad Pass. We will not...
Read moreCame here with my wife and family, a total of 5 of us. The atmosphere is great and spacious. Parents enjoyed their meal. I had a teriyaki burger, which was good. The wife had Philly, which was dry. Daughter had tacos, which was okay. Not sure what's up with the pickles, I got one and so did father in law, but my wife and mother in law were pickleless. My wife was given the wrong order of fries and as she addressed it, the waitress stared blankly as if there was nothing they could do about it.. you can literally feel the dead air through the silence. She eventually made the appropriate statement that she would correct it. On more than a few occasions, we tried to call her back or wave her down for a request, but we felt pretty much ignored. The waitresses seem young, so the social awareness and communication is not entirely there. She gave us our receipt and as we were walking out I realized... we were not offered any dessert. The waitress saw me walk back but said nothing. Not a "did you need anyting" "is everything okay" "can I help you".. of course she kept walking and didn't hear me call out at that time either. Annoyed so I went to the bar, at this point I'm wanting a drink with my dessert. I ordered the brownie with the ice cream. Got home with family to enjoy the brownie, we stay less than 5mins away. Another disappointment, that brownie was hard. Not sure if they thought I wanted it caveman style or what. Ice cream was great, would have loved it with a soft warm freshly...
Read more‼️‼️DO NOT GO HERE‼️‼️ I have truly never experienced a restaurant quite this terrible. Let's start at the beginning; First, it was extremely cold in the restaurant, to an uncomfortable amount. (Wouldn't be that bad if we didn’t wait so long) The food took over an hour to come out. We got there at 3:15 and waited until 4:21. Getting into what happened at the same time as our food came out, and this is the most uncomfortable and unsafe I've felt at a restaurant EVER!! Two older women were clearly intoxicated for the entire duration of our "waiting time" (i can't even say meal here) and as they were leaving, still clearly drunk off their behinds, they both fell onto / into our table, right after the food had been set down. Also, before that, at some point, the lady vomited off the side of the booth and wiped it up. Right after an extremely loud coughing fit. Like OMG! The staff should've intervened BEFORE it got to that point. HOW is this even a possibility?!? We left directly after the two drunk ladies fell. On the way out, we were told "she only had one glass of wine" and "we're going through growing pains" That is absolutely nonsense. I will never be returning. DO NOT GO HERE!!! For context, we ordered the Jackpot breakfast and spaghetti and meatballs. Boiling pasta takes 9 minutes, and the other is eggs toast and bacon. Like this is 20-30 minute wait time at MOST!! ‼️SERIOUSLY DO NOT GO HERE‼️ Worst restaurant experience...
