Henderson Star Cafe — Restaurant in Henderson

I hate to give only one star. But its called for in this case. My family and i went here because i came into town for a day. We had great service before and during the meal. The food was great for the price. However my 3 year old decided to vomit towards the end of our meal. So like any sane person i go clean my child and myself up. Once i finished i gave my son to a family member and stopped to try and clean it up. Everyone stood there looking at the mess and i asked for something to clean it up with. I was handed a single small wash cloth for a not so small mess. I get down on my hands and knees and begin trying to work on the mess. My kid made the mess so i expected to clean it up. I get it. Nobody likes vomit. The lady asked if id like a bag for his clothes and i declined because i already had a bag for them. She then proceeds to walk away and never come back. I asked for another rag and nothing. I stood there being ignored until i couldnt take it. My son was in the car and i needed to check on him so i left. They turned an already embarrassing situation worse. No one asked if my son was ok except for a customer. I meen if you want someone to clean it up help them get the proper things to clean it. Today we went to the restaurant it was 5 adults 7 children they were packed so we didnt panic over our order being wrong. What was delivered was good and this is a regular eating establishment for our family however we will never return I was brought the bill went to pay as I was paying a lady walked up with another receipt handed it the lady checking me out not to me did not bother to explain there had been a change that we were being charged on our bill a tip it was not posted and I did ask. Had it been handled properly nothing would have been said mistakes happen. However how this was handled made us feel like we were being taken advantage of sad thing is our waitress was great but I refused to leave a tip on the table due to how this was handled each adult had intended to leave a ten dollar bill there was 5 of us 😢 go figure they lost money today due to their greed. I understand they are there to make money but handle your business professionally not like your out to rip people off.. This use to be my go to place for several of my coworkers and I. But it seems as if every time I go in I get charged a different price even when I get the same thing. On this past Friday i went in and got two salads from the buffet. The lady that handed me the boxes told me the salads were 6.99 and that was fine with me. I told her I needed an extra ranch with each salad and she told me they would be 7.99 each with the extra ranch and that was fine with me. I heard her tell the other lady that my salads would be 7.99 each because I got extra ranch. So I get to the register and both my salads were 7.99 each which was ok and I also had 2 extra charges for ranch and an extra 10% labor charge. My total for 2 salads ended up being almost 22 dollars. I explained to the cashier what the lady told me and her but she continued to argue with me. I did not want to make a scene and hold up the line during lunch rush so I just paid and left. This is about the 3rd or 4th time I have had an issue with this same lady giving me different prices. Although I love their food I will not be returning here...
