Henderson Cafe — Restaurant in Henderson

I am at Henderaon Cafe for breakfast this morning, and it's full of Daddys and Uncle Billies. (You would have to know Daddy and Uncle Billy to get the full meaning of this.) Oh, the overalls. I'm definitely in my happy place, listening to these wise souls solving the world's problems. Any of these men would do a better job of running the country than either of the options we have on the ballot. Certainly more honor and integrity in this room than in all of D.C., but I digress.

The food is outstanding, the prices are reasonable, and the staff are lovely. This is truly a family operation, and they do a great job.

Great little place to stop and have breakfast or lunch. We had breakfast and the food is delicious, home made taste, and great portions. I highly recommend the French toast, it is divine. The eggs were made just the way I asked them to be. I also recommend the pancakes which are huge! Make sure you come with a extremely big appetite if you are going to eat more than 1 pancake! The restaurant overall is very clean and set up well. This is a great "down home" quaint...

Great reviews led me here, but…no. The chicken patty melt - tiny, dry chicken breast. Chicken sandwich- tiny, frozen PATTY (not breast). Cheeseburger- meh. Onion rings- greasy, and very few for the price. Drinks- from a bottle, so no free refills. Service- ok. The reviews were primarily about breakfast, though, so maybe that’s the only meal worth eating. Not terrible food, but 3 sandwiches and two orders of onion...
