This was our first time eating here, We had Noelle as our server, she was really sweet aside from all the busy chaos and did her best to be attentive, I worked in restaurant food service BOH for a long time and I understand what the servers go through and I respect them. My husband ordered the Edison roll and ahi avocado roll, we both liked the sushi. I ordered the teriyaki bento dinner box, the salad with the house dressing was really good, the fried rice was way undercooked, rice was crunchy and half cooked grains, the chicken was cold by the time I got it and the spring roll was cold as well. The shrimp “ Tempura “ was not tempura at all, it was more of a heavy battered and rolled in panko and then fried. But it was still good in the Edison roll. I feel that maybe they need to hire more kitchen staff to handle the amount of food that needs to be pushed out for service. We waited about 20-30 mins for our food to come out. Read moreThis restaurant has changed for the worse over three years. We go less and less. It seeks like every time we show up there is another ‘thing’ that annoys us. Most recently this restaurant has decided to implement a ‘card everybody’ rule. We are 60. Laws are specific. There’s no state law to card everyone as the restaurant claims. They are within their right to impose any silly rules on patrons to CYA, however, I foresee they will not be in business much longer at this rate. Especially when they make a point to come back to the table and put a customer in their place (e.g., We’ll give it to you this time but next time…). Just stupid. To top it all off , when I said there wouldn’t be a next time, we wouldn’t be back, the response was, That’s fine. We definitely do not support businesses making up rules that exceed the law or inconveniencing and talking down to paying customers and have decided we’ve given them their last chance. Read moreI recently visited this restaurant, and unfortunately, my experience was incredibly disappointing. The food I received was cold, so I sent it back to be reheated. Shockingly, it came out at the exact same temperature. To make matters worse, when it was time to pay, I was mistakenly charged for a different table’s bill.
Because it’s the Friday before Christmas, I now have to wait several days to get my money refunded. On top of that, I still had to pay my own tab separately. This entire process caused unnecessary stress, and the staff seemed indifferent to the burden their mistakes caused me.
